Third victim found in Jeep is rushed to Fresno hospital.
Three men were shot late Sunday night near an orchard at the northwest edge of Clovis.
Two were dead at the scene; the third was rushed to Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno in very critical condition [where he died] Clovis police spokeswoman Calli Biaggi said.
All three victims were found about 10:30 p.m. in a Jeep Cherokee that was parked about 400 feet east of Willow Avenue on the shoulder of Shepherd Avenue. The area is rural, but quickly becoming urban as new housing developments have sprung up nearby...

This triple murder took place near new suburban housing developments.
Drugs?
No thanks, I'll just have a beer.

If hispanic murderers on the lam were a commodity we'd have trade parity with Mexico.
Basically, I give anyone who finds me in Clovis the permission to shoot me as soon as possible. I'm already in hell. It can't get much worse than that.
This took place near where they might be working and far from where they might be living. Does that make it less likely to be gangs or drugs? I don't know.
I live here and I don't even know. That area is a really nice area of town, and it's a construction site, not usually what one thinks of (at least here) when they're thinking of a gang issue. That's a bit further in town, more in Fresno, especially for something like this. I'm curious as to what they will find when they dig into it a bit deeper.
Gee, wonder why illegals were my first thought?
Just killing the people Americans won't kill!
now now...Americans don't kill people..GUNS do. You should know this by now...
It is obviously someone who hates Jeeps.
Maybe the Clovis Police will dig deeper, but I don't think that the Fresno Bee will be reporting much. That they put a triple murder in Clovis on the Metro section instead of the front page indicates this story is destined for the proverbial Memory Hole. It doesn't comport with the sunny view the Bee likes to portray of the rich ethnic diversity that daily enhances our lives in the Central Valley.
Three Killed in Clovis Shooting
May 23, 2005
Three were killed in a Clovis construction zone last night and the hunt is on for the suspect and the truck the shooter was driving.
What's unusual about the crime scene is that the area is closed off for construction. It's surrounded by orchards and unfinished housing developments, so it's not known why anybody was even there in the first place.
Clovis homicide detectives and the crime scene unit are looking for answers after three people were shot and killed late last night.
It happened around 10:30pm last night in a secluded area on Shepherd near Willow.
Police say someone shot at four men in a red Jeep Cherokee. Two died at the scene, one later died at the hospital.
The fourth man managed to escape to a nearby housing development to get help. He pounded on doors and neighbors called police.
Detectives have been talking to the survivor, but at this point, they don't know why the men were shot.
Police say the gunman was driving a black Ford F-150 Harley Davidson Edition pickup truck. It may have had tinted windows.
No, they didn't pay for their jobs.
??...I'm not up on new trucks. What is that?
