no, they were to be together. To procreate, the first reason and recreation while doing it.

It wasn't meant for casual recreation.

Best post to me yet. Trying to have an open mind, people refuse to accept the possibility that there are things in the Bible that may be incomplete. As a Roman Catholic myself, I am mature enough to realize that many of the church teachings are man made, not God commanded. I try to live by the Ten Commandments and by the Golden Rule. Other than that, I find it hard to believe alot of the nonsense foisted upon us as "TRUTH."

No, I would make child porn and molestation a capital offense. Sorry for the confusion.

Understood. I reread it with that interpretation and wholeheartedly agree. I'll bring my gun and stand next to you.

Someone (you?) took an AWFUL lot of effort researching and compiling that list of EVIL JOOOOOZ involved in adult entertainment.

I'm sure someone could just as easily take the time to find out all the WASPs who are similarly involved, but then you'd just chalk that up to an insidious Jewish conspiracy to smear Christians, wouldn't you?

what you posted translated as "some get addicted... and others get addicted"
implication: only those who abstain entirely do not get addicted.
did you not type a necessary clause, or what?

Thanks for getting back to me. There were a few others that had some input on that too. I had heard arguments before about how porn was never really a primary issue with Bundy's pathological nature which is believable but I wouldn't rule it out totally. But yes he would have killed anyway. I have a bit of a professional interest in this as I'm working on interview techniques for sex offenders, some, and I stress some, that I've been in contact with are heavily into illegal and legal porn. Some are mental cases, drug addicts or both which factors heavily into their sex offenses. They're still vile freaks. The porn is secondary compared to some of the freakish icons they make for themselves and diary notes they keep. The true predators are very scary when you get a look into their heads.

Thank you for that pointless tidbit of observable information, Captain Obvious. Of course it's up to them, but that doesn't mean that I don't have hopes for them. I take it that you're somehow offended that I hope my children save themselves for marriage. Weird.

What exactly is a "religion addict"? Is that anyone more religious than you? I was an atheist most of my life, and I don't think I ever felt such contempt for the religious as it appears you feel.

I'm not sure what would constitute reliable/consistent physiological and psychological indicators of "addiction to religion"

however, there are those who are as much "addicts to churchgoing" as those considered "addicts to strip-clubs": same basic behavioral paradigm.

I have no contempt for religion, but when people start ignoring common sense and practicality because of something they interpret as some divine truth they read or are told, then they are addicted, yes. People who believe that I am destined to hell because I miss church or eat meat on fridays are religion addicts. People who refuse to accept the reality that man has been on this planet far far longer than the bible has been in existence and claim that only they know the truth are addicts. What about all those people who lived before Jesus came to this earth? Are they going to heaven?

Religion is supposed to be a framework for morality, not a substitution for common sense and reality.

Wouldn't that be a true statement?
