I hope y'all will excuse yet another vanity from me!
As some of you know, I am pregnant right now. (37 weeks on Wednesday) There is some concern from my OB's that I may be developing pre-eclampsia. I have many of the symptoms, such as high (over 140/90) blood pressure, protieninuriea, pitting edema, ect. They are running tests for a confirmed diagnosis. In addition, I had a pre-labor thing going Saturday and Sunday.
I will likely be discussing an induction with them again tomorrow, as I know that pre-eclampsia can develop into full-blown eclampsia w/ little or no warning and can even be fatal. Scary when I am home alone with three little boys all day. To top matters off, the friend we're going to have watch our children when I go to the hospital is moving away in a week, (an unexpected development!) and so if I go into labor and/or am induced after that, I would have to birth this little guy all alone...not a pleasant idea, though I have done it before.
Sorry that this was so long, but I am feeling quite frightened and anxious, as nothing like this has ever happened with any of my previous pregnancies. I could really use any prayers you all would be kind enough to offer.

Heavenly Father, bless this mother and child, and all those that love them with health, peace, comfort, a good birth, long life, and Your presence throughout.

you who ordained that women should give birth,

keep her safe during this time
as she waits to give birth,
help keep her body strong
and able to deal with the strain and stresses
it is called on,
guide her doctors to make the right decisions,
and act wisely,
bring her peace and comfort while she waits,
and keep her save during her delivery,
and may she, and the child she carries
come safely into your light.

May God ease your anxiety, find someone to take good care of your boys, and bring you and your new little one through this difficulty safely. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. My heart certainly goes out to you, too.

Hey there!! I had high blood pressure with all 4 of my healthy beautiful children. The first 2 were each 3 weeks early, induced. My third was 4 weeks early, induced. And my last was about 2-1/2 weeks early, induced. You will do just fine! Dont' let it freak you out ~ God will work this out for you. Big HUGS!!! Prayers up!
