Great 'toons; thanks for the ping, Pookie! (The last Day by Day one with the Gitmo/September 11 contrast was brilliant!)

Given the long-term negative impact which tens of thousands of '70's era draft dodgers, military deserters and their sundry camp-followers continue to have upon us up here, those "conservatives" who habitually urge that we accept still more of the dregs of American society are effectively promoting the dumping of human toxic waste into their neighbor's yard.
It's more than a little hypocritical for those who bitch about the current left-leaning status quo North of the border to simultaneously want to inflict still more of America's social rejects upon us.
Canadian conservatives already have quite enough of both the home grown and imported varieties of commies to deal with and most definitely don't need or want any more of the vermin!

Does anyone have a verifiable source for that Lincoln quote?
"Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs who should be arrested, exiled or hanged."
There are so many quotations falsely or incorrectly attributed to Lincoln that I want to make sure before I use this one.

You have nothing to worry about. Our pansy lefties can't handle the conditions in your country. Even in the best of hotels. (It gets COLD up there. I was a few dozen miles south of there in Duluth, MN one year in December. The guy on the radio said not to have your eyes open more than 30 seconds or they'd freeze. Our liberal pansies couldn't deal with that.)

That map needs to be recolored. There would be large red pockets in Canada as well...most of the Prairies except for the census divisions carrying the large cities, much of the interior of British Columbia, a few pockets in Atlantic Canada and a good chunk of Ontario outside the GTA and a few other cities. Also most of Quebec would need to be colored teal for separatism.
