I'm sure the good people of arkansas were not consulted. Google around and there's plenty of anger and tumult in Ark.

It sure is a good subsidy for the chicken processing plants, though.

"We're witnessing the foreignization of this country"

The percent of immigrants is less than many times in the past and immigrants are learning English at a slightly faster rate than previous non-English speaking immigrants.

McDonalds, The Gap and MTV will assimilate them much faster than prior immigrants who were not bombarded by ad agencies.

I read corruption. It's known that gangs can't thrive unless allowed to, so it made sense to me.

It's funny you of all people talking about misstatements. You do the unsourced thing all the time. At least I answer when asked about it. LOL!

As I've said before, if these aren't jobs America wants (haha, know too many that want those jobs) but if they aren't. Why don't they build the plants in Mexico?? Why build them in Arkansas and then truck Mexican's to Arkansas?

Wouldn't it be better to let them stay with their families and get a decent wage where they live? Why is it they want to bring all these illegals to America? Why?

When you talk about someone on a post it is common courtesy to ping them. Your ill manners reflect on your character.

The bill was $250 in doctor fees and $450 in lab fees. We walked out of there feeling that we just paid everyone's way that evening.

If there were 30 in the waiting room and you were charged $700, that would be over $33 per patient.

Yup. It looks like you paid the freight that night, all right.

But look on the the bright side. The Emergency Room people got to use their English for a change. I'm sure they needed the practice!

We have a real problem in our city in that we have illegals committing terrible crimes, and then being aided in running to Mexico and re entering at another time. There was a drunk driver who killed a mother here, and has never been found. We know he fled to Mexico and they refused to send him back to face charges. We have a murderer so cruel that even his own call him El Diablo, and now an illegal Mexican rapist has now fled the city and no one has a clue where he is.

Our police really don't have the resources to go after these people, and it has caused a breakdown in law and order here. Criminals are becoming very bold and the citizens suffer.

I have concern that soon our police officers will be the target for murder, especially if they make an effort to bring some really bad illegals to justice. One who didn't flee fast enough went up before the judge and said that he wanted to be set free of his crime because he was being discriminated against because he was an illegal. So, small towns are suffering across America.

I'm a bit confused...I didn't think Aztlan included Arkansas. Maybe they're going to claim the territories explored by Spain in the late 17th Century, too. Look out Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi!

I came across a .edu website a few days ago that was "explaining" how wonderful it was to have these (illegal) immigrants from Mexico and then went on to list the states that had been under Mexican control at one time. Florida was listed among them.

The only thing I could figure was that they were pretending that Mexico was really Spain and that they had ruled Florida at one time.

This was probably in between the centuries that they ruled China too.

Baloney! When they start dealing with the gangs, they'll find a whole lot of officials strings attached. You can't be that dense!

I have no idea what the laws on this matter are in Arkansas. I know there is a great difference between what public assistance laws say about who is eligible and who actually recieves public assistance. And no I will not take the word of this particular church outreach person nor would I take the word of say, a social worker, LULAC rep, or democrat. But hey, Im picky like that.

“The reason that they enjoy Arkansas is that they enjoy the small towns. They just feel real comfortable here.”

Yeah, so did we....before the invasion.

I show respect for those I respect. I have ZERO respect for people like you who take up the cause of ILLEGAL scum who invade our country.

And, when it comes to character, your warped and treasonous views regarding ILLEGALS shows you have none.

.“When you hear illegal immigrants are accessing all sorts of public benefits, that’s just not true,” Gomez said. “Under law, people who are undocumented can only receive....bla, bla, bla"

These "undocumented" people are not here legally.

Are we to expect them to obey "the laws"? Of course not. Only a fool would believe that.

I know of many who are loaded with false documents....within 100 feet of me as I write this. Does the person who writes this article really think that illegals obey the laws? If this person does, then (s)he is an idiot too.
