Ugh, who actually watches Greta?

The only thing I watch on FNC anymore is Brit Hume's show during the week, and the Beltway Boys on the weekend.

Occasionally I will watch Neil Cavuto, if I get the chance.

I stopped watching O'Reilly a few years ago, and after the election it seemed like Hannity and Colmes turned into a human interest show with all the Schiavo, kidnappings and other nonsense.

But I have never watched Greta, I don't know who does...

Puhlease.

Someone needs to tell Greta to start ENUNCIATING her words and stop speaking with the Billy-Idol-esque sneer.

She has got to have the worst technique in broadcasting.

It's the Aruba media circus, now that the Jack-o circus left town.

I was happy when Fox news became availiable on my cable but nobody warned me it was just recycled court TV.

This is temporary during the Natalee Halloway case in Aruba. Actually, Greta is doing a great job down there. I personally can't stand her either, but the shows are quite well done from Aruba. She has had several exclusive interviews, and CNN is spying on her trying to follow her around for their stories. Too funny! Poor CNN...

Normally, I don't. But the Natalee Holloway story from Aruba intrigues me, as my daughter is same age and just graduated. Greta's reorting and coverage is definately top notch. She'll probably get a Peabody or Pulitzer or Emmy.......

Greta has basically all the soap-opera "human-interest" at the moment, more concerned w/entertainment idiots like MJ and TC as well as the Individual Sob Story We're Obsessed w/this Month.

Not to mention I don't like her manner much.

Greta is not really a news show. She's a crime & courts show.

She does a good job of covering her subject. But I can't stand listening to discussions about Michael Jackson, Scott Peterson, the runaway bride, or Natalee Holloway every night.

I don't have time to watch O'Reilly and Hannity during the week, but I record them Friday night to watch Saturday and fast forward past the uninteresting parts. I knocked out both shows in about 5 minutes last week. I don't even bother with Greta and "this week's trial of the century".

Give me a break. Greta Van Susternad who has the ultimate tabloid and most boring show on TV is now # 1! Guys we need a Republican Conservative cable news channel that broadcast real news and without being obsessed with the liberal opinion of view, missing people (blonde girl in particular), court trials, and all the dumb issues that Fox News is getting obsessed about.

I used to watch Brit hume's show when I got home in time. Then I realized even that was pretty much a waste of time. I can't think of a single show on fox or msnbc or cnn that is "must see." It's all a waste. Unless you somehow derive entertainment value from cable news, I'd recommend bailing on ALL of it. It's all worthless.

I think O'Reilly is taking a lot of heat from other programing. he IS in the toughest timeslot 7pm CT. I know I didn't watch O'reilly diring American Idol or the NBA Finals.

The Holloway case contributes to it, but the other reason is that O'Reilly has been putting her on his show lately very extensively.

It's not so much a testament to Greta's popularity as it is a reminder of how unbearable O'Reilly has become.

Frankly, I think that Scarborough is the best conservative on evening TV these days. He's polite, modest and well-informed. The same cannot be said of Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity.

I like Greta. I don't always like the stories she pursues, but I like her style of reporting and commentary. She seems intelligent and "no nonsense" and not overly emotional ... unlike many other commentators. I think she has to pursue some of the stories she does because FOX pressures her to do so. I get the impression she would not spend half as much time on some of them them (for exampe Jackson trial), were it not to keep her job.

The one I simply cannot abide is Nancy Grace of CNN. Give me Greta any day.

I occasionally watch Greta, but not very often. I occasionally watch BO'R, but not very often. I am glad that FoxNews is kicking everybody backsides.

But I will know all is right with the world when Special Report with Brit Hume is America's nightly news source.
