Portrait of a Spiritual Killer: George Felos, in His Own Words
Crisis Magazine ^ | 6 July 2005 | Benjamin D. Wiker

Posted on 07/05/2005 6:18:13 PM PDT by Aussie Dasher

I don’t believe I have some kind of extraordinary spiritual sense, but something alerted me the very first time I saw George Felos, the lawyer responsible for killing Terri Schiavo: Something is deeply wrong with this man. Very deep, and very wrong.

I had no such spiritual warning on the radar in viewing Michael Schiavo. He looked like the kind of man who could kill his wife. And he did. On March 31, 2005, he successfully starved and dehydrated Terri Schindler Schiavo to death. Cold-blooded murder, but entirely transparent.

Michael was one of those intensely jealous, intensely violent types. In February 1990, Terri collapsed at home when oxygen was cut off to her brain. Michael claimed she had a potassium imbalance. A neurologist later testified that she had suffered a neck injury, the kind you get when someone tries to strangle you. To this day, doctors do not agree on the real cause of her collapse. Nevertheless, Michael was able to win a big medical malpractice court settlement—$1.5 million—vowing he needed the money to care for his beloved and now-damaged wife. As soon as he got the money, he began to try to kill her by depriving her of all medical treatment and rehabilitation. He finally finished her off with the death-camp treatment: no food, no water.

Cold-blooded murder, sanctioned by the state of Florida, watched by millions. Horrible; but again, quite transparent. Michael wanted the money. His wife, Terri, had to die for him to get it. And so he hired a “right-to-die” expert, lawyer George Felos.

We had some threads on quotes comparing lines from George Felos' book to some writings from Hitler. Can't remember which thread or the works being compared off hand. But the philosophies were the same. Almost quoted word for word.

The Culture of Death is a faith unto itself, it's called eugenics (of course you already knew this), which is an offshoot of Darwinism. It seeks the destruction of Judeo-Christian culture and specifically the Catholic Church. Here's more if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the ping. Words of Governor Bush in the St. Pete Times today. Again, he is speaking of "life" but pointing out that above all, he respects the rule of law.

Further, Jeb blames Terri for the difficult time her family went through because there was no living will.*** Nice touch, Jeb.

Notice that Jeb says "this" I guess meaning his letter to the editor puts "Terri's forced exit to rest. I don't think so. I called Jeb's office and told his staff it would probably be better if Jeb just stayed silent on the matter because everyone knows what really happened and he's just making things worse. FV

Schiavo case wasn't about politics - it was about life

Letters to the Editor

Published July 12, 2005 On Thursday, I closed the state inquiry into the Terri Schiavo case.

This puts to rest a sad chapter in Florida state history. To me, this was not an issue about politics, but about life. Terri's case is one I was involved with for years - long before it became a media interest - and I was determined to see it through to completion. Although I am saddened Terri had years cut from her life, and I do not agree with all the courts' decisions, I respect those decisions.

Terri did leave us with a silver lining. It is my hope that Americans across our great nation take a lesson from Terri's case. We never know when tragedy will touch our lives. All of America saw the agony Terri's family experienced. That could have been any person, in any city, in any state. None of us wants our loved ones to go through a similar situation.

I urge all Americans to make getting their affairs in order a priority and to let their loved ones know their wishes. My wife, Columba, and I filled out and signed our living wills, and we both feel better because of it. Completing a living will increases the likelihood that a person's wishes are known, respected, and followed. ***It also makes a difficult period slightly easier on family members.

As this trying period ends we can find comfort in knowing Terri is now in a better place.

Gov. Jeb Bush, Tallahassee

We told every leader the same thing and I guess in Florida you can practice law no matter what condition you are in.

I don't think it was either of them that started the thread I'm thinking of.

I'm going to check out the blogger thread to see if I cross linked it there.

I may have the text in my email outbox too cause I copied it to my friend that spoke with Terri's mom.

Going to check.

Ok, this is the text of his book we were comparing lines from. I'm going to do a google to see if I can pull the thread from this:

Excerpts and Commentary about Felos’s Book

Litigation As Spiritual Practice
by George J. Felos

Exerpts from the reviews on Amazon:

About the Jews, George Felos wrote, "The Jewish people, long ago in their collective consciousness, agreed to play the role of the lamb whose slaughter was necessary to shock humanity into a new moral consciousness. Their sacrifice saved humanity at the brink of extinction and propelled us into a new age." (pg 240)

Felos further wrote, "If our minds can conceive of an uplifting Holocaust, can it be so diffucult to look another way at the slights and injuries and abuses we perceive were inflicted upon us?" (pg 240)

Describing the period he was separated from his ex-wife, "that weekend I experienced rage. Savage, unadulterated, and murderous rage." (pg 6)

Felos wrote about his ex-wife, "To her, I seemed unattractive, sexually unexciting, balding, boring, and just not enough fun to be with....she didn't need me anymore. For her, marriage to me inflicted a fate worse than death. She admitted that for the past year or so she had wished for my death, and whenever I flew hoped the plane would crash." (pg 7)

About his anger towards his ex-wife, "I was on fire, fueled by thoughts of bludgeoning and tearing her apart." (pg 23)

Describing the period he was recuperating from his divorce, "it consisted mostly of dreams of being tormented in some inferno." (pg 27)

"Mrs Browning, do you want to die? Do you want to die? - I nearly shouted as I continued to peer into her pools of strikingly beautiful but incognizant blue. It felt so eerie." (pg 63)

"Whatever your opinion about tube feeding, the hard fact was it now stood between Mrs. Browning and her death." (pg 64)

“As Mrs. Browning lay motionless before my gaze, I suddenly heard a loud, deep moan, scream, and wondered if the nursing home personnel heard it and would respond to the unfortunate resident In the next moment, as this cry of pain and torment continued, I realized it was Mrs. Browning. I felt the mid-section of my body open and noticed a strange quality to the light in the room. I sensed her soul in agony. As she screamed I heard her say, in confusion, ‘Why am I still here … why am I here?’ My soul touched hers and in some way, I communicated that she was still locked in her body. I promised I would do everything in my power to gain the release her soul cried for. With that the screaming immediately stopped. I felt like I was back in my head again, the room resumed its normal appearance, and Mrs. Browning, as she had throughout this experience, lay silent. “I knew without a doubt what had transpired was real and dispelled the thought as intellect’s attempt to assert its own version of reality.”

(pg 73)

While on a plane trip, Felos thought "I wonder what it would be like to die right now?" (pg 181)

Felos felt that God told him, "You are more powerful than you realize." (pg 182)

About the Estelle Browning case, "I still got a kick that evening seeing myself on the TV news, notwithstanding my frequently displayed countenance in the media of late."

"If I had to urinate, I didn't wait until the next commercial, I immediately got up and went. On the first urge to defecate, I left for the bathroom rather than making one more phone call." (pg 292)

"I can truly say my wife was enamored with me. I suppose power and success really are potent aphrodisiacs-as my spouse had made particularly evident our previous night at the Governor's Inn. " (pg 246)

Copied from Shadow Rose:

George Felos is not just a lawyer for Michael Schiavo in this “right to die” case. He heads a religious organization that believes death by dehydration and starvation is a religious solution for the severely disabled. Felos knows this because he hears voices that tell him when someone wants to die this way and this is his gift as an agent of God.

This information comes from Shadow Rose, a small non-profit investigative group incorporated in Idaho that focuses on domestic violence and sexual abuse. The head of the organization, Trimelda C. McDaniels, found this information in Mr. Felos’ book, “Litigation As Spiritual Practice," (Blue Dolphin Publishing –2002) and feels that his role as a lawyer in the Schiavo case is based upon his religious beliefs that the removal of feeding tubes from the disabled are a form of profound, religious expression.

“Felos clearly states that he hears voices in his head that tell him when someone wants to die this way,” Mc Daniels said. “ He is adamant about being used by God to help people out of their bodies into the next world by removal of feeding tubes and even ‘willing’ them to die with his mind.”

I'm only coming back with this thread:

It is about the book; but it isn't the thread I remember.

Well, the text does speak for itself though.

To me, these are the defining issues of our times:

-Men(ace) in Black? SCOTUS goes Rogue...--

-Useless Eaters vs The Death Cult--

-Thunder on the Border-- (Minuteman Project)--

1- an unaccountable Judiciary.
2- whose life is it, anyway? Yours, or someone else's?
3- whose Country is it?

There are other vital issues, of course- but these three will determine just who we really are as a nation.

"... sounds almost like the demon posessed people in the Frank Perreti books."

That's exactly what they are! It is a spiritual battle - life against death.

That came to mind to me too when I first heard of Felos de se. Epic battle of good and evil.

This noiseless communication—quite noisy on a “spiritual” level, as Felos reports her screaming at the top of her spiritual lungs—convinced him that Mrs. Browning wanted to escape from her body.

For those who don't know what this is about, I highly recommend Malachi Martin's "Hostage to the Devil."

A nightmare in words. I don't think Edgar Allen Poe wrote anything as scary as this true story.

You're correct .. it is good against evil. They have managed to destroy over 40 million little babies - and now they are going after the elderly or invalid or handicapped.

Only evil people could do what they're doing.

"For Felos, it’s an act of liberation, and hence an act of love. He’s merely sending a poor entrapped soul off, either to drop into the fathomless pool of God-consciousness—the ultimate escape from body-entrapment—or to be reincarnated into another body to try for realization again."

I definitely got the above from past reading. Felos thinking is similar to the thinking of some serial murderers, (which in my mind, Felos is).

The author NAILS Michael and Felos extraordinarily well! Excellent article. Thank you for the post.
