Lock each and every one of them up! - (life without possibiity of parole for child molesters!)

How many children must die before lawmakers and the courts decide to keep certain classes of sexual predators behind bars permanently?

Joseph Edward Duncan III, a registered sex offender from Fargo, N.D., is the most recent addition to the pantheon of convicted pedophiles who have been let out of jail only to prey on other victims upon their release. Duncan was convicted of twice raping a 14-year-old boy at gunpoint in 1980. He was 16 years old at the time he committed the crime.

Sentenced to 20 years, Duncan was first released after serving 14 years, violated his parole and was sent back to prison in 1997, where he remained until 2000. When he finally got out, he enrolled in college and even made the dean's list, but soon was trolling for more victims. Duncan was arrested for videotaping and fondling a 6-year-old boy on a playground in Minnesota last July, but instead of being sent back to prison — or at least held without bail — he was released on a $15,000 bond in April, then vanished.

Duncan is only the latest in a long list of convicted sex offenders who have gone on to commit horrendous crimes after being released from jail.

The punishment for raping a child ought to be life in prison, period. There ought never to be a second chance for such persons. And while lesser sexual crimes — fondling or possessing child pornography, for example — might deserve a second chance, it must come under the most restrictive circumstances: life-long, electronic monitoring. Any second offense of such crimes should earn a life sentence, with no possibility of parole.

I wonder how long it will take before NAMBLA and the ACLU begin shouting about Duncan's "rights."

Hang them. No lethal injections: they're not unwanted pets or something. There's no need to keep them around in prisons, where they just start their own little subcultures. We need to bring back real punishments. We need to bring back public hangings.

The memebers of both organizations should be arrested and sent to Club Gitmo, for LIFE. Let the a-rabs have a shot at their butts. They might change their minds.

Any lawyer who gets a sex offender off, should have to have the sex offender live in his house with his small children. Any Judge how lets a sex offender off, should have the children's parents and grandparents live with him.

The judges putting these pukes on the street are most likely pedophiles themselves.

Kinda like some RC Cardinals in the US.

Better yet, if a judge releases someone on bail, charge the judge with accessory to any crime the perp commits while on bail.

Castrate them first, with a dull knife. Take away their so-called-man-hood, they will loose what is left of their wicked little minds. Then hang them! I agree with the Grone Dad, I am sick and tired of letting perverts kill our childern, by some idiotic letter of some law???

But even if we have to build many more jails to keep such criminals behind bars, wouldn't it be worth it to save the lives of children like Jessica, Sarah, and so many others who have died because of our failure to do so?

Hell yes. The activist judicial system has made it easy for pedophiles to skirt punishment by claiming the actions of these freaks are symptoms of mental disease. Child molesters can't be cured. If we don't have the right to end their putrid existence then let's lock them up and throw away the key.

The punishments for these kinds of crimes should be much stiffer.

And when all the pedophiles start killing their victims, so said victims can't ID them, that's gonna be LOTS better.

Look, I despise child molesters as much as the next guy, but child molestation is not a capital crime for the same reason rape is not a capital crime.

Both forcible rape and child molestation should be capital crimes.

You've ruined an innocent life and that innocence can never be reclaimed.

There is a reason for the death penalty.

It is not for revenge, and it is not for punishment.

It is to protect the rest of society from living in fear of these nasties.

I say tie one end of a sturdy wire to their offending organ and its attending sac-o-nuts, hand them a sharp knife and throw the other end of the wire into one of those tree mulching machines. One way or the other that peckerwood gets pulverized.

Mark Klass, said his solution would be this....a pedophile convicted the first time should serve his full sentence....then he gets out...if he reoffends, he should receive life without possibility of parole....I was surprised at this, considered what Mr. Klass has been through with losing his daughter Polly...he said his reasoning is that someone, even tho convicted, might actually not be guilty of the crime...however, if that person reoffends, and is then again caught, tried, and found guilty, then he should serve for life without parole...because the second conviction, boosts the belief that the first conviction was correct...

Many pedophiles do not physically murder their victims...but they damage them mentally for life, those victims often never recover from what was done to them...their families are torn apart, and suffer....so altho a pedophile may not have actually murdered a victim, that pedophile killed that victims childhood, and in many cases killed that victims chances at a normal, happy life...and for that, the pedophile deserves life in prison without parole, or even the death penalty...

Poor analogy. Recidivism rates for such predators is high. We have all helped fund the studies. Quite often these vermin follow through with killing. Kind of like saying to a rape victim, "Hey, just lay back and enjoy!". At least it will not get you killed.

...rape is not a capital crime.

Is not aggravated rape a capital crime in many states and punishable by death in a few? Kidnapping is certainly a capital level offense which applies to most child molesters. Cross a state line and it becomes a federal offense I believe.

It's time to make the judges liable for lenient sentencing and premature releases of these parasites.

I used to think "why are they still on the street?"

Now I think "why are they still breathing?"

Hang them.

Or bring back the electric chair. Warm it up with some brats first, pass the mustard and we can watch the show...

That actually depends on whether or not I'm making the arrest...

And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
