Lock each and every one of them up! - (life without possibiity of parole for child molesters!)

How many children must die before lawmakers and the courts decide to keep certain classes of sexual predators behind bars permanently?

Joseph Edward Duncan III, a registered sex offender from Fargo, N.D., is the most recent addition to the pantheon of convicted pedophiles who have been let out of jail only to prey on other victims upon their release. Duncan was convicted of twice raping a 14-year-old boy at gunpoint in 1980. He was 16 years old at the time he committed the crime.

Sentenced to 20 years, Duncan was first released after serving 14 years, violated his parole and was sent back to prison in 1997, where he remained until 2000. When he finally got out, he enrolled in college and even made the dean's list, but soon was trolling for more victims. Duncan was arrested for videotaping and fondling a 6-year-old boy on a playground in Minnesota last July, but instead of being sent back to prison — or at least held without bail — he was released on a $15,000 bond in April, then vanished.

Duncan is only the latest in a long list of convicted sex offenders who have gone on to commit horrendous crimes after being released from jail.

The punishment for raping a child ought to be life in prison, period. There ought never to be a second chance for such persons. And while lesser sexual crimes — fondling or possessing child pornography, for example — might deserve a second chance, it must come under the most restrictive circumstances: life-long, electronic monitoring. Any second offense of such crimes should earn a life sentence, with no possibility of parole.

The kind of electronic monitoring I have in mind is life-long, but only lasts two minutes in a seated position...

" I am sick and tired of letting perverts kill our childern, by some idiotic letter of some law???...or on innumerable technicalities, like the arresting officer left out one word in the "Miranda Warning," or because the criminal confessed before his court-appointed lawyer was present....or a myriad of other nonsensical excuses.

Thanks for your comment, Ethyl.

I fully agree with your call for public hangings.

These are monsters. It seems to be a consensus of even the libbies that these demons cannot be cured.

A civilized society needs to eliminate those things which are so fatal to its core.

Don't the readers of a Jewish paper know exactly what is required for this problem? How is it that they can blithely accept something other than the God required remedy?

The same goes for those who call themselves "Christian" and claim to follow The Jew.

Homosexual Agenda/Moral Absolutes Ping.

A two-fer, since at least one third of child molestations are homosexual in nature.

There is no reason not to execute child molesters, the first time. Why give them a chance to destroy more children? It is a fact that if/when a child molester is arrested, the perp has very likely committed other crimes with other children; he just happened to get caught this time. If he gets arrested again, it is very unlikely that the second arrest means only the second child he's molested.

Often the child molesters' victims number in the hundreds.

(Polly Klass' father's brain is warped, btw. I pity him because anyone whose child was kidnapped and murdered would have their life ruined.)

Forcible rape and child molestation used to be capital crimes, and there is no reason they shouldn't be now, except for the insidious creep of the disease of liberalism.
"Oh, the poor criminal. He had a bad childhood." So that makes it okay for him to make sure other people have bad childhoods?

Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.

Kidnapping in the state of Idaho is a capital crime under these circumstances. There are two official methods - lethal injection and (no kidding) firing squad.

Anyone want to read what's in Duncan's head? Click here. Now figure out if you want this guy as a neighbor.

I always heard the prison population visited their own "justice" on child molesters/murderers. Whatever happened to that? We need to bring back that practice.

...but child molestation is not a capital crime for the same reason rape is not a capital crime.

Why Not?

I understand what you're saying, but with respect, depending on a bunch of felons to dispense justice is copping out. It's our responsibility. I am not a death penalty advocate particularly, but in this guy's case I'll happily pull the trigger myself.

There, I just disqualified myself from his jury.

"Any lawyer who gets a sex offender off, should have to have the sex offender live in his house with his small children."

"Justice" should mean "giving to each what is owed," (Polemarchus) if it is to be a meaningful concept in law.

Lawyers who work to thwart real justice by getting "notches" for winning cases on behalf of known child molesters, rapists, and murderers are, themselves, guilty of crimes against their fellow citizens.

Lawyers and judges who do not protect the most innocent, our children, from such criminals should be exposed. Your suggestion is one that has real merit and potential for shutting down the revolving door. If a lawyer uses technicalities or other trickeries in order to keep a child molester on the streets, then he should be willing to take him into his own home to mingle with his own children.

By the same token, judges who do not do whatever research it takes to be certain that they do not put these people back in the communities should be exposed for their lack of diligence in protecting the "people" they serve.
