I saw the following headline on the Yahoo! homepage this morning: "Rove email puts White House in bind". That told me everything I needed to know.

...The MSM is desperate for another Watergate and they hope this reporter is another 'Deep Throat'.

How utterly pathetic.

Interesting... isn't it? The White House Press Corps is even less aware of the Internet than Dan Rather and Mary Mapes!

And why is the White House on the ropes with this? Why is Scott McClellan strumming his lip helplessly while Terry Moran and David Gregory savage him? Why, indeed, does the White House even permit Moran and Gregory to come in and p!$$ on the staff and the office of the President?
I am beyond sympathy for the President and all who serve him. I'm now into annoyance that they allow these media hyenas to diminish the office. It must stop and the President has the authority to stop it.

Great post.

BTW, I wonder who the NYT reporter in jail is protecting - it sure isn't Rove...

the white house political war room, and specifically McClellan as spokesman, stinks on just about every single issue. no surprise there.

the white house should never have given up on the Iraq/Niger connection (since its true) until they verified how the forged documents were placed into the intel stream (they were planted as a poison pill to discredit the story). that fact is totally gone from the story now - now its about this nonsense of releasing the name of a "covert" CIA agent, and the washington press corps hystrionics, and giving the idiots on the left a rallying point.

I suppose this is the memo that Terry Moron was talking about at the WH presser today

Because the matter is under criminal investigation and the prosecutor has asked them not to comment on the case.

Therefore McClellan is making no comment.

Moran and Gregory are acting like children who can't get their way, and they'd be fired by respectable news organizations for their actions because they make the news organization look bad and hurt it's credibility.

I suspect their credibility will be damaged even more when the investigation is concluded and all the facts come out.

Rove and the administration know the facts, and I suspect they're playing this in this manner for a reason.

Only those who believe in the left's mantra religously will continue to take the main stream media and the far left seriously while they keep doing this crap. Unfortunately, that's still a lot of people. Fortunately, the voting public is becomming more informed through other sources.

Let the main stream media keep lowering their credibility.

Let the liberals froth at the mouth about someone who's a political strategist.

What's the democratic party's platform? What do they believe in? Why should people vote for them?

We know they are for gay marriage, against the war, and they like raising taxes.

Those things aren't going to win them elections.

The MSM has never admitted it was duped by this loser Wilson. Therefore, it will never give credit to Rove for tipping it off and preventing it from making a bigger fool of itself. Thus, it must continue to pursue the angle that for some reason Karl Rove belongs in jail for 'outing a covert agent.'

Of course, the MSM yawns when liberals like Clinton and Berger steal or hand over classified documents to our enemies.

My guess, and it’s only a guess, is that the New York Times is protecting the inexcusables ; the Clintons.

Thank you for pointing out that I missed the issue that is the greatest moral outrage of our time, and an issue that has never had popular support.

You’re most welcome.

Like I tell my UAW employees. I ask how they can live like conservatives yet vote like a liberal. Yea I want fairness and equality and some other Democrat stuff but if I would ever vote Democrat I also get:

Gun grabbers
Baby killers
Homo lovers
Tax raises

Some have come to the same understanding and others never will.

"Yea I want fairness and equality and some other Democrat stuff but..."

The democrats say they are for fairness and equality, yet their actions most often appear to be quite the opposite.

Is it fair to murder a living being just because another living being doesn't want to be inconvenienced? Doesn't an unborn child deserve equal rights to live as the mother does?

The democrats are about destroying the concept of personal responsibility, and building people's reliance on the government.

They don't treat people equally, they fire up support in some groups by fueling the fires of hate against another group.

The republicans believe equality is everyone having an opportunity, but they have to work to take advantage of that opportunity.

The democrats say that we don't have equality because someone else in keeping it from us and only the government can give us equality.

The democrats aren't about equality. They are elitists who are concerned either with power, or are under the impression that they have to lead the stupid commoners for their own good.

"BTW, I wonder who the NYT reporter in jail is protecting - it sure isn't Rove..."

This is the question the MSM should be asking. Novak wrote a column and won't talk, Miller is in jail and won't talk and Cooper was told by Rove to go ahead and talk and the media is all gaga over a non story.

And why is the White House on the ropes with this? Why is Scott McClellan strumming his lip helplessly while Terry Moran and David Gregory savage him?

We hear this complaint everytime the Dems/MSM think they are nailing the Bush Administration with some HUGE scandel.

Even I get frustrated waiting for the White House to put these little twits in their place.

But EVERY time the Dems/MSM end up with looking like fools when their accusations turn into nothing.

This is what happened with the "Bush-Enron" scandel, the "Bush-Lied" 9/11 Commission fiasco.
Sometimes I think Bush tells his people to look weak just to draw his accusers into a trap, and then make fools of them.

" the white house political war room, and specifically McClellan as spokesman, stinks on just about every single issue. no surprise there "

Our cries fall on deaf ears at the White House.
Apparently they would prefer to have a stumbling, fumbling hemming, hawing deer in the headlights ahhh..ahhh... family friend as a spokesman rather than someone who could enunciate the President's policies in a clear and commanding voice.
It appears as if sleeping gas and "Sally Fields, Do You Like Me " gas ? has been pumped into every room of the media operations at the WH the last six months.
