The same thought crossed my mind. What hand is the Texan holding this time?
imagine Rush or Laura Ingraham in McClellan's job. Bush's poll numbers would be 10 pts higher.
oblivion? they've got a solid 45% of the vote on their side. even ignorant americans have the right to vote.
it costs Bush in the polls. most americans aren't deeply informed on this story, they just here the snippets at the top of the news, so the spin from the left, and the inability of the white house to have a consistent communcations message, or in this case, a rebuttal to this nonsense - does cost us.
we had an election in 2004 that we won by one state with 60K votes. Reagan was winning lanslides. there's your answer right there as to where it matters. Reagan and his team knew that everyday, his most important job was crafting and communicating a consistent message to the american people. what I wouldn't give for Rollins, Nofsziger, Larry Speaks, and Atwater in this administration.
that's their base, 43-45%. not their maximum. they compete for the swing voters, had they swung 60K of them in Ohio last time out - Kerry would be president right now.
The base is 35% tops. You are dreamming and in deep denial. The RATS are self destructing and like you they think they are getting stronger.
I didn't say they were getting stronger. but they aren't imploding either, and they spoon feed these stories to the sheeple, while we have McClellan up their who can't string a 5 word sentence together - it does have an effect on public opinion amongst the broad uninformed sheeple masses.
They aren't fooling many people anymore. Obviously you are one the few left that is fooled.
no, I'm not fooled - I'm just worried about the people that are, there are plenty of them.
" imagine Rush or Laura Ingraham in McClellan's job. Bush's poll numbers would be 10 pts higher."
At least.
My pick would be Dan Senor - who was available when he came back from Iraq.
Or Torie Clarke.
I don't know anyone, from major Bushbots like myself to casual Republicans who don't cringe when they see McClellan on tv.
He cannot explain the President's policies in a coherent and confident manner.
The media runs roughshod on him every single day.
His presser on the President's National Guard records was horrendous and gave the media the foothold they wanted.
He may be the nicest guy in the world, but, he's the wrong guy for the job.
Unfortunately , the White House refuses to see this.
The phony polls and media bias is their downfall, until they accept the fact that their agenda isn't selling and change diresctions they will keep losing elections. The MSM is doing the GOP a hugh favor by propping up a losing ideology. It's the end results that count. The real poll is at the voting booth !
Amen brother!
They need the Rendell-Daley TEAM to "gin up" votes, huh? LOL...
This is nothing but another leftist witch-hunt. They had better check themselves- their double standard is showing again...
