Democrats and most of the Beltway press corps are baying for Karl Rove's head over his role in exposing a case of CIA nepotism involving Joe Wilson and his wife, Valerie Plame. On the contrary, we'd say the White House political guru deserves a prize--perhaps the next iteration of the "Truth-Telling" award that The Nation magazine bestowed upon Mr. Wilson before the Senate Intelligence Committee exposed him as a fraud.

The interesting story in all of this is that of Judith Miller. Just who is she protecting (herself or others) and what is she afraid of? Perhaps the Spec Pro because she screwed up an important anti-terror that he was running.

Rove broke no law. He didn't "out" Plame. She had already been OUTTED, by A damned double agent spy, a decade+ ago and hasn't been a covert operative in more than ten years. The law, that Rove is supposed to have broken, is aboutCOVESRT OPERATIVES IN THE FIELD AND THOSE WHO WERE ONE, FIVE YEARS AGO. Neither of these qualifications haves been met by Plame and besides, Rove didn't names her.
There is NO "cover-up" at all, Rove violate NO law, followed procedure TO THE LETTER, and your Conservative credentials, as well as your knowledge, are GREATLY in question!

I will (stay tuned). I just wonder why the "media" isn't interested in the real criminals in this case. Haven't heard anything about the nepotism at the CIA and the U.S. taxpayer financed junket by Little Joey Wilson to "research" his NYT Bush-bashing op-ed and his novel. I think Little Joey owes the taxpayers some money.
Did you hear Kerry was in Vietnam? Did you also know he met with the North Vietnamese at a time of war? And you think Rove did something to mess with national security? Give me a break.

LOL! I always forget to return them! Plus, for some reason I like to buy my books and keep them. Can't figure out why, it's not like I'm made of money, but I like to keep the books I read.
I'm the same way. I covet them.
That's why I always just buy DVD movies instead of renting them. It turned out that it was cheaper than racking up all those late fees.
I rent movies from pay per view for 3.99 and tape them. They're not DVD quality but what the hay. It's cheap!
I'm going to crawl into bed and read some more.
