HILLARY CLINTON "Insulting" mailer.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has mailed an "insulting" survey to Democrats to drum up cash for her re-election campaign next year asking leading questions that attack President Bush and the GOP.
One Brooklyn Democrat who received the slick mailing accused Clinton of stooping to what he called the gutter politics practiced by Bush adviser Karl Rove.
"Part of my job is to be a good listener," Clinton says in a "Dear Friend" letter to targeted Democrats.
"My determination to move forward on the issues we care about is reinforced by the Republican pursuit of flawed and failing policies and by my deep concern over the effect the extreme Bush agenda is having on America."
But the questions are aimed at drumming up anti-GOP feeling, rather than "listening" to and getting honest answers on issues, charged author Adam Fawer, who read the mailing last week.
One question reads: "How concerned are you that President Bush is not doing enough to get Americans back to work, create more jobs and getting the economy moving again?"
Respondents are asked to check a box to answer either "very" or "somewhat concerned" or "unconcerned."
She then asks for contributions starting at $25 to more than $100.
Fawer, a former market researcher, slammed the questions as "over the top and insulting."
"Hillary claimed she wanted to know what our views are, but the questions are so leading that it was obvious to me the poll is designed to try to get me to think in a certain way," Fawer said.
Clinton campaign spokesman Howard Wolfson said: ......"One person not liking a 6-month-old mailer doesn't sound like much of a story here."

Well at least one Democrat gets it. If Democrats ever hope to have a chance at leading the country again, they have do develop real policies and plans, not just bash Bush and be anti-everything.

Hillary asks stupid and insulting questions of her supporters--because she knows how stupid they are!

The economy is a whole lot stronger than when Billary turned it over to Bush, and unlike then, is not getting weaker.

They have to develop real policies and plans that people would be willing to vote for. They've got policies and plans. They just have to lie through their teeth about them since the majority won't vote for anyone pushing them. But this isn't the old electorate. Americans have been put through the wringer the last few years. And with the coming of the internet and the New Media, no-one's gonna be able to get away with the kind of excrement Bill Clinton pulled, not on a national scale.

A pushpoll is a pushpoll is a pushpoll irrespective of reaction... and, besides, a pushpoll is covert-- deceptive--insidious--by definition, Howard.
The problem here is that yours was much too obvious, and hence, insulting... which is, in fact, old news....
- The clintons' fundamental error: They are too arrogant and dim-witted to understand that the demagogic process in this fiberoptic age isn't about counting spun heads; it's about not discounting circumambient brains.

Reading things like this just make me respect President Bush and his Administration all the more. Granted, there are things I don't agree with them on, but they have been a Class Act all the way through, IMHO.
This behavior is a given for the Dems. How much bad behavior have we seen from the Republicans? Aside from VP Cheney's well-deserved "F-You!" incident of course, LOL!

Hillary is pissed b/c so many of her campaign financiers are bankrupt, under investigation, are out of business, have gone to jail, or are soon to be indicted.

The economy is a whole lot stronger than when Billary turned it over to Bush, and unlike then, is not getting weaker. That's right. And Bush did not have the advantage, as Clinton did, of inheriting an economy that had been growing for almost two years before he came into office.
George Bush the elder lost his job after Bill Clinton hammered him relentlessly during the election of 1992 for having caused the worst economy of the last 50 years. In fact, as CNNs Brooke Jackson has reported: Three days before Christmas 1992, the National Bureau of Economic Research finally issued its official proclamation that the recession had ended 21 months earlier. What became the longest boom in U.S. history actually began nearly two years before Clinton took office. (See http://www.cnn.com/2001/US/10/31/jackson.recession.primer.otsc/).

There will be more elite Rat CEO's/CFO's facing charges and jail time in a few months. Our new head of the SEC will go through them like a super charged weed eater.

It was finally concluded that due to the minuscule amount of water in her lungs, Mary Jo actually suffocated to death and did not drown. It was estimated she may have been struggling in the submerged air pocket for up to 45 minutes, enough time for the esteemed senator to walk back to his hotel, take a shower, and call all of daddy's henchmen to keep himself from drowning in a court of law. Our hero...

Excuse me watch the language guy, she only tinting her argument to gain support just like any politician would do. When the republicans make it seem that Iraq is Disneyland, you wouldn't hear anyone say anything.
Regardless of what the Democrats do they will always get their tail kick in fund raising. I have seen the numbers and it isn't even close.
By the way, what the heck do you think she would send, a pro-Bush mailer. "Ah, yeah, President Bush is the Greatest thing since sliced Bread", I am beginning to see that any kind of opposition in this country is off limits.
