Will these members of the howling dog left actually honor their pledge? Did Ted Turner ever actually follow through on his pledge to give a billion to the UN?

Thanks for posting this excellent summary how the libs are losing.

"Question: How are conservatives like Wal-Mart?

Answer: Wal-Mart gradually built up an infrastructure by figuring out how to serve those marginal groups and areas other retailers had ignored in favor of the "commanding heights" of the economy. In the process, they learned how to produce more efficiently and by the time they went into direct competition against the flabby mainstream guys, they blew them off the map.

Conservatives were systematically shut out of the "commanding heights" of the intellectual and media ecosystem. They were forced to go back to basic principles and learn how to organize and promote their ideas anyway.

Meanwhile, liberals lounged around, comfortable in their exclusive control of what would be discussed in the national conversation. With what seems like great suddenness, they lost this control and have been floundering ever since.

It's just not fair."

Why does it cost $80M for some dudes to sit around and "think" and debate. That's what the UN is for.

Those silly liberals.

The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy"; Making rich Liberals poor, one million at a time.

I have to think of how Reagan outspent the Russians, because OUR system could afford to outspend their system.

Sorry, no amount of money can buy them the ability to win in the free market place of ideas. Liberalism does not stand up to facts and logic. They would have better luck winnging at a crap table in Las Vegas.

"Rosenberg said liberals and Democrats face a conservative "information-age Tammany Hall, a 21st Century political machine, that is simply better than what we have on our side."

We have a 'Tammany Hall'??

Bahahaha!!!

Tammany Hall was a Democratic political machine in NY that started out buying Irish immigrant votes by giving them hand outs.

Geezzz..

When will they ever get that they have been had.

< I think they are pretty much admitting they have no ideas at this point and that they are intellectually bankrupt. >

Actually, they need to take the tiny bit of intellect that they may have left and realize the real problem is that they are "morally" bankrupt.

"It wasn't only the failure to win, it was the question 'what does it take to win?' " Gluckstern said.

I know the answer to that: GOOD IDEAS that actually adress what most Americans see as problems (something other than gay marriage and abortion on demand), and some evidence that the Dems have leadership capabilities, rather than just whining and moaning about Republicans.

These bastards benefit from a productive capitalist economy and now want to ruin it for everyone else. Not only that, they're contributing money to make it easier to ruin it for everyone else.

I've been to low tax havens - Hong Kong and Jersey - they work. Liberals, shut up.

Regards, Ivan

There are that many liberals with a spare $1M lying around? How can that be? I thought liberals were all about redistributing wealth, helping the poor and improving America. How can they possibly have that kind of spare cash, if they're walking their talk? Must be from the fuel savings from driving their Yugos.

Wait. You mean the postmodern pinheads aren't good enough?

That can't be. Eurocentric America still needs a lesson in radical Marxist egalitarianism.
