A pro-troops/pro-Bush rally will be held this Saturday in Crawford, Texas by Killeen radio station KLFX 107.3 FM and sister station KWTX 1230 AM.
The rally will begin at noon and will be held at a parking lot next to the Crawford Bank. Free hamburgers and sodas will be given away until supplies are exhausted.
A spokesman for KLFX said that those who are calling this an anti-Cindy Sheehan rally are wrong. The station wanted to have an event to offer a means for the public to show their support for the troops serving at nearby Fort Hood and their commander-in-chief in contrast to the antiwar/anti-Bush protesters descending on Crawford this week.
The station says the free cookout is meant to tweak the leftist 'hunger-strikers' in Crawford, not make fun of Cindy Sheehan.
Have fun, play safe. The lefties are in a tizzy over this.
I am glad they chose to make it a pro-troops, pro-Bush rally, rather than an anti-Sheehan rally, like was proposed.
I want to go so bad but it appears I have other plans and can't get out of them. But it sure does sounds fun!
Now watch all the press coverage from the MSM I'm sure it will dwarf the coverage of the left wing loons. On another topic, I hope we return to the moon soon and get our fill of green cheese.
Have the lefty protestors been hauled away yet? if not, can someone videotape when they do?

Thanks for the ping! Hope this goes well. I wish I could be there, but I live all the way across the state from Crawford--plus I have to work, darn it! I will be there in spirit! I'll bet the pro-Bush group will be much larger than the anti-Bush nutjobs! Hope they have fun and yell loud!

Any "temp" agencies in the immediate vicinity? I'm unable to make it, being in NJ and all, but I would pay somebody $8.00/hr for 8 hours that day to be there as my surrogate.
