Christopher Walken Running For President
Walken2008.com ^ | 8/12/05 | Walken 2008

The Walken Platform

These are the issues that need solutions now, and Christopher Walken is not afraid to address them. He wants his supporters and opponents to know that he is clear in his ideals and will fight to lead America to a better place.

Campaign Finance Reform:

"I believe that campaign finance is a very tough issue, with good points on both sides; but I feel, as a wealthy american, that I should have no more say than even the least fortunate American citizen. That is why I am for campaign finance reform."

Military Funding:

"I am a huge supporter of the military. I have always thought of them as our guardians, and when our guardians are making less than the poverty line, and children are suffering because their parents decided to join the military, well, I get very upset. I feel that instead of sending billions to the Pentagon's pet projects, it should go to the troops."

Stem Cell Research:

"I'd met Chris Reeve several times before he died, and after having met him it is tough to be against it [stem cell research]. I am for human knowledge and expansion of human life. If stem cells are one way to do that, I need to be a good friend of stem cells."

We appreciate the great response you've sent us, interested in more information about Christopher Walken's policies and platform. Please have patience as he puts his ideas into words, and as soon as they're available, we'll put them here. Thank you for your support.

Yeah, it's a fake.

In "Wedding Crashers", Walken's character (Treasury Secretary William Cleary) is considering running for President. Walken comes across more like no-nonsense Rumsfeld type than a slimy Presidential candidate, though. Maybe this spoof site is a tie-in with the movie. ;)

Please excuse my ignorant naivete, but will someone please explain the COWBELL reference to me.

Thank you.

Did anyone ever see the Christopher Walken impersonation of him doing a Skittles commercial on Saturday Night Live? Hilarious.

No, no. . . its Michael Moriarity for President, Christopher Walken for Secretary of Defense, James Gandolfini for Secretary of State, on the "Make The F***ers Fear Us" ticket.

Thanks, I miss Natalie Wood. I think she was (pardon the overused and cliched expression) special.

Cast of SNL, spoofing the show "VH1:Behind The Music" and the band "Blue Oyster Cult" and their song Don't Fear The Reaper. :) That particular skit is on the DVD "SNL: The Best Of Will Ferrell", which Ferrell is the one on the cowbell. LOL :)

NBC sometimes repeats the "Best Of..." series when SNL is on haitus.

That Natalie Woods business would be too much to overcome. A cloud of suspicion has always hung over his head. Don't believe this is going anywhere.

Now James Woods I would vote for. That guy has an IQ of 180 if I recall correctly and a finer actor I've never seen. He would scare the hell out of our enemies. Now he would really be refreshing. Hell, I would even take "President Palmer" over the duds running right now. At least he could make a decision and do what was required. Too many politicians put their finger in the air to see which way the prevailing political winds are blowing.

ROFL. Thanks. Walken is brilliant sometimes.

Maybe we should elect him and just let him bomb (in 5 minutes) and scare the beejeezus out of everyone.

Could he possibly be anymore absurd than Clintoon, Jimmah, Kerry, Bore, Dukakis, Sharpton, Kucinich or....RALPH NADER!

Talk about a bunch of REAL weirdos. At least Walken knows he's an actor (or dancer) (I think). The politicos,..WTF do they think they are?
