The Heart of Texas Chapter is planning a return to Crawford on Saturday, August 27. Our purpose this time will be to team up with the Move America Forward Caravan, which will originate in California, and pick up supporters from across the country. We hope that with this much advance notice, more Freepers will be able to join us this time.
I have spent most of the day trying to contact someone at MAF, but they are so busy they haven't gotten back to me yet. However, it shouldn't be hard to notice a caravan of buses and cars in Crawford, so we will be able to jump in with them with no problem.
I spoke with Police Chief Donnie today, and he really seemed happy to hear that we were coming back. We won't need a permit this time, as we will be a tag on to the MAF permit.
Everyone with suggestions for signs, tactics, etc. please chime in. This will be another Support the Troops Rally--but MAF will probably get in a little Sheehan bashing--which is fine with me!
I don't have cable. That would explain why I don't know him.
WHAT WAS I THINKING?? I don't know where I got that in my thick head. That's what happens when you don't look at a calendar... And I swear, I did NOT drink at dinner tonight, LOL!

So wait...Who all is going *this* Saturday, the 20th?
I'm going to take a rest now. Gramps is fixing me a nice hot toddy and he says I'll be fine tomorrow...
And now I don't have to worry about rushing out of town this weekend! Now what shall I do to fill my idle time until next week.... Maybe get therapy?
NO! I've got it! I'm gonna go buy me a bigger calendar and plaster it right above my monitor!

Do not make excuses.. because Casey didn't make any excuses when he volunteered-twice to serve,nor when he volunteered to rescue his fellow American troops and paid with his life for it.
People may ask if I emotional- I say yes I am emotional- I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore.

Sure did see that. I even tried to print it off. Problem was, I don't know how to size it large enough to be seen on a poster. I love that shot!
CindyDawg, I'm sticking close to home this Saturday. We have tickets to a musical that we will enjoy using.
But weekend after next.... WOOOO HOOOOO!!!
