For the twelfth week in a row, FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond have outnumbered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
Code Pink is truly stuck in a quagmire as FReepers severely hinder the Pinkos' cynical attempts to manipulate wounded soldiers and relatives in hopes of finding those who will join the anti-war movement and break faith with the troops still fighting a ruthless enemy. Many of the most severely wounded troops from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan are taken to Walter Reed for continued treatment and rehabilitation. The Pinkos other goal is too demoralize those wounded troops, but wounded troops have repeatedly thanked us for our presence as an antidote to the morale-sapping leftist antics.
Incredibly, Code Pink cannot muster enough people to achieve their desired fraud and deceit at their Walter Reed protest in the liberal bastion of Washington, DC, a city filled with left wing activists and where about 90 percent of the people voted against George Bush.
Do you think that the Pinkos are sickos to have an anti-war demonstration at a hospital holding war-wounded? Then please help us by showing up next Friday night per details below. Stand up against the Pinkos who've endorsed the Iraqi resistance (see here and here), given money to the other side in Fallujah, and called our troops "killers." Then, the Pinkos demonstrate at the hospital and pretend that they support our troops.
This was Eighteenth Fabulous Fun FReep of the Code Pinkos as FReepers continue to frustrate the Pinkos' evil scheme.
As we have done on a number of these FReeps, we ate pizza on site at the FReep.
The honor roll of those in attendance: Albion Wilde, Justanobody, lurker Joan, Landry Fan, Jimmy Valentine's brother, Doctor Raoul, beandog, Nina0113, Fraxinus, BufordP, bmwcyle, Apple Blossom, Our Man in Washington, Chick-with-a-brain, HOCWAB (husband of Chick-with-a-brain) and their 2 daughters, lurker Bill, lurker Liz, and BillF. We tied our attendance record of 20 patriots, but set a new record of 21 if you count Vega, the canine-American who came with Bill and Liz.

Photos will be interspersed in the report. As it got progressively darker, my telephoto lens shots became less clear, requiring software enhancement. You will notice that people look more like cartoon characters in my later telephoto lens photos.]
Opposed to our twenty patriots, the Pinkos managed yet another anemic effort. They were no more than 8 in the first hour, but the Pinkos eventually peaked at 14.
Blue pony-tail guy is first Pinko to arrive, about 5 minutes late.
Usual ritual of leftists illegally putting their banners on military property, the Walter Reed fence.

Side view of the leftists early with a strange circular glow on them. |
| There was a strange circular glow right around the leftists in the above right photo, which was NOT caused by any PhotoShop or similar editing. It may just be an artifact in the photo, but I'm hoping that the Halliburton-supplied camera is supposed to generate a Rover-like device per The Prisoner TV series from way back. Rover was a vicious, balloon-looking, remote-controlled device that rendered people unconscious and transport them so that they could be kept in a prison village. Maybe, this Rover-like device could be called Hally (as in Halliburton) and could transport the leftists to GITMO. You can see the resemblance between Rover and Hally by comparing the above right photo to the photo of Number 6 (person on the ground) at the right. Hally just didn't quite form completely, didn't solidify fully on this night. Back to the drawing board. When a bus of patients pulled back into Walter Reed after a night on the town, the interior light was turned on. The patients on our side of the bus waved appreciatively as we chanted "USA, USA." If the past pattern held, the patients on the leftists' side of the bus gave the leftists one-fingered salutes and other signs of contempt. Doctor Raoul, who was directly across from the leftists at that time, reported that the leftists' demeanor changed and they appeared quite discouraged right after the bus pulled in. |

Many of the leftists show up late, after dark. They think that the darkness prevents their images being processed by the Halliburton facial recognition software. They are wrong.

Vega was not a "right-wing attack dog." |
When lurkers Liz and Bill showed up with their dog Vega, Jimmy Valentine's brother asked if that was a "right-wing attack dog," presumably referring to the one that we've requested from the Halliburton Special Ops Department for defensive purposes only. Vega was not an attack dog.
As an experiment, I told Vega the dog that the Pinkos had given $600K to "the other side" in Fallujah. No response. I said that they endorsed the Iraqi resistance. No response. I then told the dog that the Pinkos liked cats. Still, Vega was unmoved except for occasionally trying to get to our pizza. Vega was too sweet to attack anything except pizza and the FReepers managed that attack themselves.
The highlight of the night was two Walter Reed patients coming over to thank us for being there. It is quite strange to have them thanking us. Of course, we thanked them repeatedly for their service and for the sacrifices they've made to keep us free. One of the soldiers lost an arm in combat, the other lost his right hand. He shook people's hands with a prosthetic hand (he was just there to get it checked out or tuned up). He is headed back into combat, at his request. He wants to make sure that his kids find a better world when they are older.
There is a debt that we owe to those two soldiers and the other troops that we can never repay by words or deeds. Still, those soldiers and other troops have made it clear that we are making a difference by peacefully countering the Pinkos at Walter Reed. You too can make a difference. You can come this Friday per details below. What are you waiting for?
There was some chanting at the leftists, but the real interaction was as the leftists left shortly after their 9 pm quitting time. A couple of them walked by and asked "how much is Halliburton paying you?" Doctor Raoul referred to them as baby-killers, noting that Code Pink endorses "certain acts of desperation" (e.g., the intentional car-bombing of innocent Iraqi children) as just.
Then, as we were packing up to leave, two police cars pulled up. They said that someone (gee, I wonder who) had reported that we were harassing people, blocking the sidewalk, and standing in the street. We explained that we have strict rules against such conduct and that we had not done those things. The police just talked to us for a while and then left.
We absolutely must keep the pressure on Code Pink and keep showing the wounded soldiers at Walter Reed that Code Pink doesn't speak for the nation. If you live in the DC area and haven't yet come out for one of these FReeps, please do so this next Friday. Injured Walter Reed patients, including amputees, have repeatedly told us how important it is for us to be there to counter Code Pink.
If we can sufficiently outnumber the leftists often enough, embarrassment may cause the leftists to stop these outrageous morale-damaging ("Maimed for a lie" is one of their commonly-used signs) demonstrations at the hospital. What about you? Can you spare a few hours on a Friday night?
Can you give up next Friday night at the movies to support troops who've given up limbs for your freedoms? Will you?
This FReep is rewarding, fun and important for our troops and our nation.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to go this Friday. I've been to 17 of the 18 FReeps as I missed one when helping a relative with a medical problem. I would ask all who read this to go in my place this Friday if that is at all possible.
DC Chapter co-leader kristinn has confirmed that we shall continue FReeping the Code Pinkos every Friday night until they stop their obscene blood dance outside the hospital of our war-wounded. If you agree with me that it is outrageous for Code Pinkos to demonstrate at a hospital with war-wounded troops inside, please come out and join us in a peaceful counter-protest.
One of the amputees told me months ago that he doesn't want other wounded troops coming into Walter Reed and seeing only the Code Pinkos at the gates. He explained that the FReeper presence there was extremely important to counter the Pinkos. Please join us and be a part of our peaceful counter-protest to Code Pink.
Please don't let the troops think that regular Americans are too busy with TV, ballgames, movies and other recreation to peacefully counter America-hating leftists.
Being there with us in spirit is great, but we need people to hold the MOAB (Mother of all banners), other signs, and flags. Maybe you can't come every week, but please make it your patriotic duty to join us at least once in the near future.
As always, the DC Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect.
Briefly, they are: No violence. No profanity. No racism. No provocations. Obey the law. Treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
Start at 6:30 pm and go to about 9:30 pm.
Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 7200 Georgia Ave., at Elder St., NW
Code Pinkos have been setting up on the southwest corner of the Georgia Ave/Elder St intersection. We've been setting up on the northeast corner across the street from Walter Reed's entrance gate.
FReepmail me or post a reply to get on or off the list.
Injured Walter Reed patients, including amputees, have repeatedly told us how important it is for us to be there to counter Code Pink.

The same FReepers are doing almost all of the these FReeps. We do so gladly as a labor of love for our brave troops fighting terrorists over there, instead of waiting for the terrorists to come here. We FReep especially for those wounded in combat. However, some FReepers' family vacations or other obligations may prevent some of them from coming this next Friday.
Our troops are bold enough to face bullets, mortars, IEDs, and suicide bombers. Are you bold enough to get out from behind the keyboard, FReep in person, and stand up for the wounded troops at Walter Reed?
If you're in the DC area and don't have family or work considerations that keep you from FReeping, can you spare a few hours on a Friday night? Will you?
What a tearjerker. Thanks for sharing - GR8 pic ... and thanks for such a detailed description and call for support. Hope you have 30 next time.
Bless you D.C. Freepers for standing up to what's RIGHT about our country.
That's not possible. It never rains on the DC Chapter.
I forgot to ask you to do your magic last week.
How about it this week?
Right, the rain ended before the FReep. During the FReep, it was so insubstantial that it wasn't even a mist, but I think that a very small drop hit my lens to produce the weird bubble around the leftists effect. Also, I felt two mini-droplets, but then maybe there was a bird above me.
Hope that you can make it this week, even though I can't.
Bump! Are you and the Doc going to Crawford?
I can't go to Crawford or the Walter Reed this weekend because I've got something else going on.
I'm not sure about Doc. I think that he is going.
BillF misspoke. He had experienced a high humidity event. According to my friends, rain is what you experience at times in SEA.
Thank you. Thank you to all of you and your chapter.
I sometimes think I live in the Belly of the Beast up here in Massachusetts, but you folks have to take the cake.
Please keep up your good work, all of you. I try to make a yearly trip down to DC to visit my father's grave in Arlington National Cemetery, I am going to try to plan my next one to coincide with one of your counter-protests so that I can participate.
The Code Pink cowards called the police again. They call after they leave and two police cars come rolling in. We explain to the police that they are phony calls calls.
Did you make enough pictures of the ones with the Club gitmo shirts on to send to Rush? It would be neat if he would post them on his website with a description of what you are doing at the Walter REed hospital. You might could have a large crowd like the one at the bake sale!
Excellent job!! Thank you.
LOL - good one Bill.
Great report. I would like to give a special thank you to Halliburton for the "Rover" (what an appropriate name) and the "facial recognition" software. It is a great addition to our cause.
The Extreme Right Wing
* Slanders grieving mothers
* Shoots up peaceful vigils
* Runs over crosses
* How long before they start burning them again?
These "people" (using that term lightly) are shameless.
I hope all the Club Gitmo people sent Rush their picture. I'm sure he would love to post it on his website.
Yes, they sent a group photo. IIRC, she said it has not made the website yet.
I told my husband and he is making sure his schedule is clear - we have to bring our kids if we make it though - I am assuming that is OK.
Congratulations on the turn-out YOU made happen!
Your report, as always, was a welcome few minutes of reading.
This week is still in question around here, will keep in touch...
Well .. it's the weekend .. and I've heard Rush say they are getting tons of pictures.
Good report!
Bump.
Can I hitch a ride with you Friday? I'll be working in the AM that day.
Another outstanding report BillF!
I saw on the VA message that concretebob is coming up this week.
ABSOLUTELY!!!!! More than happy to. Let me know where to pick you up!
ANY OTHER TAKERS OF A FREE RIDE TO WALTER REED?????
.
It looks and sounds like a wonderful time was had by all, Bill!
Couldn't make the Free this past Friday. We had two planes that came in late (9:00pm) and had to be blocked, chocked, Post Flighted and gassed.
Didn't finish up until around 11:00pm.
Hope to throw in on the 26th and give Vega some rubs under the chin at a future FReep.
Jack.
Nicely done!
I would encourage bmwcyle or anyone else wearing a GITMO shirt to send the photo(s) to Rush, but it is up to the person(s) wearing the shirt. (They have permission to send any of my GITMO photos to Rush for reposting there.)
In the picture where Squeegee Guy first arrives, Crazy Backpack Guy is holding another of his barely legible signs. With my expert Halliburton Pinko-Scrawl Translator, I uncoded the following:
The extreme right
Slanders grieving mothers
Shoots up peaceful vigils
Runs over crosses
How long til they start
Bushing them again?
Apparently he thinks Cindy Sheehan is a laudable role model.
"I am going to try to plan my next one to coincide with one of your counter-protests so that I can participate."
Rimorel, come on down!
I sent the last ones to Rush. He did not post them.
God bless you all. If I am ever in DC I will join you (I live in upstate NY). By the way, some of us FReepers like cats AND dogs! And every gay woman I've ever met likes big dogs. Weird, huh?
Our protest warrior chapter would counter the "Women in Black" near Vassar College every Friday. And every Friday around 5:30, Vassar Security and a town of Poughkeepsie police car would roll up with a complaint that we were harrassing and threatening people. The irony was that we never harrassed or threatened anyone, but were on the receiving end of all kinds of threats (and so were our children, who were with us) from the leftists. Always shouted from the protection of their fast moving cars, by the way.
Cowards are all alike.
Don't forget to get out there and defend the Whitehouse on September 24th, as all of the CodePinkos will be there.
Aren't the last two lines as follows:
How long 'til they start
Burning them again?
Back pack guy is thinking of Robert KKK Byrd.
I can't make the one this Friday, but should be there the following Friday.
Can't wait to meet you! Let us know when in advance, Okay?
We bring our kids when we can (ages 9 & 12) then even help hold signs. As you can see from the pics, Chick with a Brain brought her whole family with her! Friday night becomes quite the family event!
Too bad leftists don't know how to make a sign that can be read from a moving car. KISS (keep is simple stupid). Big letters, bold colors, etc.
DC Chapter is contemplating our options now as to whether we do a rally and a counter-protest, or simply do a counter-protest. We will do something ourselves or, at the very least, participate in someone else's event to counter the leftists.
(A counter-protest is easy and costs nothing except signs that people usually make themselves. You just show up at the periphery of the leftists, such as across the street, and chant or otherwise get out our contrary message.)
kristinn can better summarize the situation than I can because I left the Chapter meeting early last weekend. However, I think that the hope of at least some present at the meeting is to have a rally and a counter-protest, but there is a catch as to how we can finance the rally.
The catch is whether we get fianancial help from outside the Chapter. Otherwise, we would have to self-finance completely or nearly completely as we've done on 6 to 10 Support the Troops rallies since 2001 at great expense to the DC Chapter members. I'm not sure that we're willing to self-finance the majority of the costs.
First of all, extraordinary work you Freepers are doing in the DC area in general and Walter Reed specifically.
After several weeks of reading about this demonstration I finally cant stand it any longer.
All I hear about is Freepers at this demonstration are you not getting support from any other group? Have you contacted anyone else?
I have had success with the YRs , CCRs , Calvary Church and VNVA. there are others but these groups are our best shot out here.
I avoid contacting VNVA unless I really need people since I feel that they have done more than enough.
Also I havent heard any of you guys (no gender) calling into any of the national talk shows. Have you called into any of them national or local? How about Rolling Thunder they are close to you I believe?
You guys cant be the only ones that are willing to show our support especially for the recovering wounded and their families.
I would be out there with you every week if I were within 100-150mi. Rather difficult from Orange Co, CA.
Our kids are 4 and 7 - the 4 year old has a tendency to run away so he will be the only problem. Unless something comes up we will be there - I will see if my brother wants to join us.
Thanks - hope to see you there.
Just let BillF know if you do not want your kids picture posted. Other than that they will love the pizza.
Congratulations. bmwcyle!
Your photo is on the most recent page of the Club Gitmo pictures on Rush Limbaugh's website!!! Just saw it and the caption reads: "Thomas at Walter Reed Army Hospital counter-protesting Code Pink."
Congrats to bmwcyle and all in the photo.

They made Rush!
Shhhhh ... they do not want people to be able to read their signs anyway. They might get egged!
Cool!
