20 - Hey, Howard Wolfson, How Is It that a Mouthpiece Is Suddenly Shy?
NOTE: This is the 21st episode in a series of stories regarding the events surrounding Hillary Clintons 2000 Hollywood fundraiser, and the business relationship of entrepreneur Peter Paul, the impeached William Jefferson Clinton, and Hillary Rodham Clinton, perpetrator of the largest campaign finance fraud in the history of Western civilization.
David Kendall is a partner in the famous Washington D.C. lawfirm of Williams and Connolly. During his career, he has represented some major league scumbugs. At the top of such list, it is not really unfair to place the names Bill and Hillary Clinton. Yes, Kendall is the Clinton's personal attorney.
Before Kendall, a man named Vincent Foster was their personal attorney. I'm trying to remember what ever happened to him. I guess I need to do a Google search.
For those of who have followed this series, you know I'm involved in a film project to expose the greatest campaign finance fraud in history. That would, of course, be the crime perpetrated by one Hillary Rodham Clinton and her merry band of serial lawbreakers. It occured in the 2000 Senate campaign. A few weeks ago, we decided on the title: INDICTING HILLARY.
In order to do a thorough job, we have asked some on the other side of the political aisle to participate. Howard Wolfson was asked, but he has not returned two phone calls and an email.
Last week, I made a phone call to David Kendall with the offer of appearing on film to tell his side and his client's side of the story. Since I left a message on his personal machine after hearing him tell me to do so, I have a reasonable expectation that he got the message.
I was hoping that Kendall would comment on Wolfson's public statements to Lloyd Grove of the WASHINGTON POST that Peter Paul had contributed a million dollars to the campaign "in-kind." It's not like he wrote a check. That's pretty funny, Howard.
Kendall has been shooting off his mouth and claiming that Peter's civil suit has no merit. Hmmmmm, I guess the California Supreme Court has a differing opinion. They have told Billy Boy to get ready for discovery. Hillary is on her final desperate appeal to be removed from the case. She is not going to be removed, and the Clintons are going to be under oath probably at the beginning of the year.
Kendall was also going to be given the opportunity to explain why Hillary did not make an accurate final amended filing to the FEC on by July 31, 2001. Oh, they did get the amended filing in on time. The problem was that they did not declare at least $1.2 million from Peter.
It gets even more curious. As attorney for the Clintons, Kendall was served with the lawsuit Peter filed on them. He received it a few weeks before the final amended return. Included in the documents were cancelled checks and invoices. Peter demanded an accurate accounting.
The campaign treasurer, Andrew Grossman, was responsible for an accurate filing. To this day, he claims he doesn't have the information necessary. Um, he also was given copies of checks and invoices. Whoops.
FEC law is murky in some areas and somewhat clearer in others. The candidate does not have legal jeopardy for fraud if the candidate did not have knowledge of the fraud. Um, what about those checks and invoices, Mr. Kendall? Whoops again.
There are several other pieces of compelling evidence to show that Hillary Rodham Clinton was up to her eyeballs in campaign finance fraud. Not a few golf outings like the governor of Ohio. This is the Major Leagues.
If any of you ever bump into Kendall, let him know the offer still stands, but the window of opportunity is closing.
We would love the opportunity to sit with him face to face on camera and discuss it. We would even let him sit on his briefcase.
Ping
For clarification, I did not tell Kendall the documentary was called INDICTING HILLARY. I told him we were doing a documentary on the Hollywood gala fundraiser and had some questions about the reports to the FEC.
We're There and We Can't Get Out"
Howard Dean, Leader of the Other Pro-War Party, Backs the Occupation
By KEVIN ZEESE
It didn't take long, the former anti-war presidential candidate has now become the pro-occupation leader of the Democratic Party. Just when a majority of the public is saying the Iraq War is not worth it, Howard Dean the new leader of the Democratic Party is saying: Now that we're there, we're there and we can't get out.
Like the good partisan he is, Dean blames Bush for a war most in his party voted for and an occupation that most in his party recently voted to continue to fund. Of the President Dean said: The president has created an enormous security problem for the United States where none existed before. But I hope the president is incredibly successful with his policy now that he's there.
Chairman Dean does not seem to understand that the illegal occupation of Iraq is part of the problem, not part of the solution. In fact, the many fears he expresses regarding pulling out of Iraq are made more likely by the US occupation of Iraq.
According to an article in the Minnesota Star Tribune, Dean claims that an American pullout from Iraq could endanger the United States in any of three ways: by leaving a Shiite theocracy worse than that in Iran, which he called a more serious threat than Iraq ever was; by creating an independent Kurdistan in the north, with destabilizing effects on neighboring Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iran and Syria, and by making the Sunni Triangle a magnet for Islamic terrorists similar to the former Taliban-ruled Afghanistan.
A responsible withdrawal plan will minimize the risks that Dean fears by stopping mainstream Iraqis from supporting the resistance to U.S. occupation. If Iraqis know they will be getting back their country and that there will be a dual withdrawal of U.S. troops and corporate interests in the near future the resistance will lose support. Our presence empowers anti-US views in Iraq our exit will make the U.S. invasion truly into a liberation of Iraq from Saddam. Our continued presence makes clear this was not a war of liberation but a war of occupation and dominance of the region.

As I said on a previous thread, we may offer, for a fee of $50 to $100 to let someone put up a message to Hillary in the crawl at the end of the film. Great opportunity to be part of an historic film. No profanity, although I wouldn't blame anyone. Hey, if the film had a half hour of messages at the end, that would be fine.
Do you sell cars or did you pick your screen name because of Chevy Chase and Soupy Sales?
I just hope the release is timed for maximum affect on The Hildabeaste's 2008 Senate race.
Doug, I wonder if you will get an Academy Award for best documentary like Mikey Moore? I think if you changed the title to "Bowling them over for Campaign Dollars", you might have a shot.
We may be behind schedule slightly, but we are shooting for a preliminary version for Oct. 21 at the Liberty Film Festival in West Hollywood. We have some great recognizable guest experts.
I am just hoping not to make a second trip, involuntarily next time, to Ft. Marcy Park.
It was great to read the California Supremes ruling. She's probably practicing her "I don't recall" in front of a mirror.
Where is this documentary going to be aired? On TV or in theaters?
Liberty Film Festival, then on DVD, then the plan is an expanded version for theatres.
Peter has lots of evidence. She pulled this off in broad daylight in front of everyone.
gooooood stuff - and I was in before the blurblogger ping!
David Kendall, oh, He of the "I Sat on My Briefcase during Clinton's Impeachment Hearings to Make Myself Look Taller" fame.
I wanted to post the picture of that but couldn't find it.
