The Congressional Black Caucus press conference is exploding in indignation at the President's lack of response. First, Elijiah Cummings blasted him. Now it is Jesse Jackson Jr's turn.
This politcal BS needs to end. Now is the time to help the needy and not exploit the situation for their own political agenda. This is gonna lash back big time on the libs.

As I just said on another thread, I had to turn off the morning shows today after hearing the "black leaders" say that if these people were white they would have been out already. I hope these "leaders" get a special punishment some day. They are disgusting.
Where is the press conference being shown?
As I told my sister, why don't they ask the local and state leaders why they didn't have a plan in place. Instead, we get weeping, and and pointing fingers at anyone but themselves.
By their actions...they make Orleans into a 3rd world region. Its not compariable to Miami or Charleston or Tampa. Its a land that really has alot of issues which the American public has never grasped. When one tells you to leave an area because your life is in danger...and you stay...just how big a fool are you? And to have national idiots on TV defending your actions...makes it even more of a joke.
Its how they keep their jobs.

As a black person I am ashamed of the CBC. All they do is complain, criticize and blame. They don't offer positive solutions. Did you hear the Kilpatrick lady criticizing Walmart for not doing enough!
They (Walmart) just pledged 15 million in donations. I don't see any of them doing that.
My question is "Where the hell were they 4 days ago?" If this had been an election they would have had the damn buses out there rolling to pick up the poor and get them to the polls.

Just caught a snippet of our local news here in Missouri. They reported that relief workers sent by the state are at a Saints training facility. They are not being allowed into the city by orders of the MAYOR.
