I was listening to the "top of the hour" news on ABC radio affiliate KGO from San Francisco at 11:00. They played the Dershowitz quote that described Rehnquist as an activist judge and other negatives. Of all of the things that could be said about his long career - that was all ABC could come up with - a cheap shot by any measure

Hearing Dershowitz was kinda the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Between listening to JJ, Sharpton, and the Katrina craziness, then hearing this idiot I decided I must have been transported to Bizarro World like in the Superman Comics.

I vaguely recall Alan wanted to be part of SCOTUS himself. With no Prez Gore and no Prez Kerry, what chance does he have to realized that dream. Larry Tribe is another one with such ambitions.
