They'll all say that under the circumstances it was understandable that she resorted to hyperbole. And dismiss her are an emotional WOMAN, FGS.

"can someone help me with what to say to the libs who keep saying that Bush cut off funding for fixing the levee? I don't know how to answer that at another message board." Here ya go. I found myself asking the same question yesterday.

It is illegal to threaten the president with physical violence.
At least the threat is on record.

Landrieu also blamed Bush for cutting funding for levee improvement, before bursting into tears on camera. Is it just me, or does there seem to be a recurring theme here?

You sure love your bold, don't you?
Joking.
:7)
Seriously, you're right on the money!
This woman is an embarrassment to her office.
Moon Landrieu is probably rolling over in his grave as we speak.

It's not just you; all of the LA officials seem to be mentally unstable.

These Dem hacks are seeing their political fiefdom disappear before their eyes. I hope and pray good people everywhere will take some refugees and show them what living in America is all about, rather than being kept on the Democrat plantation and subsisting on welfare. This would be the best possible outcome of this terrible time.
To: AmishDude
And what Landrieu has succeeded in doing is calling attention to whatever bad behavior the local police have been engaged in. If I were a Louisianan, I'd be quite embarassed by my senior Senator.
And now a NOPD cop has shot and killed an ACOE officer. Wonder if shes ready to critisize yet.

I think the problem for all of these pols is that their little vote grubbing, welfare pandering empires have just been exposed to the rest of the country and that's why they're crying in their Barq's. (LA root beer)
The graft and corruption in New Orleans goes so far back my great grandfather recounted stories about pay offs to judges and local pols!

Time for the Democrats to blame the Republicans for their incompetence. Mary, your State government sucks, and the Landrieus are responsible. Let me introduce you to the STFU Man.
To: ken5050
A national leader, senator, crying on TV, will reinforce the perception that a female isn't up to the top spot..running the country...and Blanco's total melt-down this week ads to that..That's the truth. The performance of both of these women this past week has been pathetic. Crying on national television undermines women in government.

"makes the dims look like adolescent idiots" They do a fine job of that all by themselves. Problem is, the people who vote for them are adolescent idiots themselves.

And John Breaux; it is apparent these dem louisiana pols see political office as nothing but their meal ticket; doing their job is beyond their capability.
