Lord send your justice.
He will. We will hear about this guy again in the news.
did ANYONE seriously believe that the Arubans would ever do anything with a Dutch boy who murdered an American girl?
Tragic isn't it? These established liars walk free. I hope the impact to Aruba is massive and negative. The Aruban government was a total disappointment during the entire process -- but we should not give up hope.
They banked their entire position on the body NOT being found. So far, they have won...
Just disgusting. Unbelievable.
Well... I gotta say that there is simply no evidence against this guy. I mean he is more than likely guilty, but there is simply no evidence to prosecute him. You can't continously hold the guy in jail if they have nothing on him to build a case. There was probably bungling on the part of the Aruban authorities in the beginning of the investigation.
Not me. Once I saw how they were trying to frame some poor security guards, I knew the fix was in. It's a shame, but the hard, cold fact is that a lot of murders go unsolved, and killers go unpunished--in this life.
The burden was on the prosecution to prove that a crime had been committed Obviously, they couldn't prove that. So, he was let go.
Correct, innocent until proven guilty.
Well... I gotta say that there is simply no evidence against this guy.

As far as you (we) know. Other than the FACT that all three of these guys LIED and changed their stories multiple times. This is the problem with Aruba -- they can and do withhold information from the public. It all smells of fish to me....

I'm convinced that just as Michael Schiavo will, these 3 will
eventually do the same thing again. Justice is sometimes slow but they will pay in this life and in the next.
I think so too.
Agreed.
To me, because they lied probably means they more than likely had something to do with the disappearance of Natalie Holloway.
But simply telling the truth didn't give the prosecutors enough to go on for a prosecution. There wasn't anything to hold them on.
I'd be willing to bet the the father coached his son on what to say and not to say. As I said in the other post, there was bungling in the investigation at the very start when they failed to look at these guys as suspects.
TIME TO BOYCOTT ARUBA. I WILL BE TAKING A CRUISE SOON - WILL NOT LEAVE THE SHIP THERE.
Prayers for the extended family.
