Katrina Kills PravdABDNC (Braying)
self | 9/7/05 | bray

Posted on 09/07/2005 10:42:22 AM PDT by bray

The Stone Age Press is facing a disaster of historic proportions and do they strengthen their levies of credibility? Of course not, they report this natural disaster as if it were Abu Grabass or their George Bush club of the Month. This was by far the worst case of news reporting in the history of this country. Within 24 hours of the breaking of the levy the Samestream press were reporting this as President Bush was willingly killing New Orleans.

They are like skydivers w/o parachutes who rather than flap their arms they have decided to do a delta tuck into the deck and make a dramatic splash of self importance. There could not been a more cut and dry story about a natural disaster than hurricane Katrina, yet they could not put away their extreme politics for a day. Most people wanted to see the disaster and witness as much of the rescue as they could possibly see. Nobody expected to have the worst hurricane to hit America be without suffering but we knew that Americans would come together to help the victims. It was a very simple story to report yet from the minute the levy broke it became a story about the reporters raging hated of President Bush.

The only question left with PravdABDNC is whether they are getting their marching orders from HilaryCare’s war room or the DNC’s war room? Anyone who is in business knows that if you are offering a product to the consumer you must make it attractive or useful. They obviously know that you must put attractive people in front of the camera, but that has not translated into the actual product which has become unwatchable.

Most people would rather spend a night in the Super Dome than watch Spitball or Shepard Sheep & Georalldo. While watching Smith and Whereswaldo’s metro sexual hissy fit we were waiting for a chair to come flying across the stage. Did he get divorced and married again while he was down there? The only people who were not going nuts were the people in the stadium who kept nervously looking for the Rubber Truck to take the 2 kooks away. And they were the best of the reporting.

When there was the Big 3 monopoly these clowns could get away with their agenda, however those days are long gone. Now, Rush is America’s anchorman while he and Drudge reach millions of Americans who are sick of this diet of hatred. We can go to the same sources the reporters have and get the information that would have never seen the light of day. These Dinosaur’s time has passed and this story was the final nail in their glass coffin. From Franken to Russert they walked lockstep with a message that was so far removed from the story as their credibility is from reality. In their world you have the execution before the investigation, when all we want is the facts since there will be plenty of time for reflection. They want everyone who made a mistake Fired, well ok; look your well used mirrors.

Finally, these knee jerk; heavy on the jerk reactionaries had to go to the race deck. President Bush is trying to kill Blacks because everyone knows that Republicans are racist, sexist, xenophobes as opposed to the all loving Democrats. You know that they are running out of evidence when they have to drag a Black behind a pickup again. Prove to us you are not a racist! Well since I am a racist, although not as racist as most Blacks, Hispanics or Democrats; I will say that this hurricane was not a racist hurricane. No it didn’t hit Boston, it hit Louisiana and Mississippi which are predominately Black. You could make an argument that God is a racist yet since he made Blacks it is a hard one to make. We know much of the rescuing was of Blacks by Whites in the hurricane that should mean that this was a non-racist event. If they were using dogs, batons and water hoses to push them back into the water, THAT would be a racist event.

The fact is that there were thousands of Whites risking their lives and reaching out to these people because they were people who were suffering. This was a colorless disaster where people didn’t ask who was who but are you hurting. America is the most caring and giving Country in the World no matter which part of the racial gumbo you are. Why anyone would bother to reach for this card is as desperate an attempt to damage a story of inspiration and courage that will last throughout the ages. It will be up to The Space Age Press to report this story, while the Stoneage levy pours over it’s banks of hatred once again. Enough Braying

Yep the level of fundamental ignorance on the part of PAID supposed "Professional Journalists" on the BASIC facts of how the Disaster Response system is DESIGNED to work as well as their complete ignorance of the notion that their are significant legal checks on a President Disaster Response powers is both sickening and frightening. Thank God for the Bloggers and Freeprs. Without them we would have no real journalists any more.

Awesome post.

Thanks.

The press HATES the images they see...people helping one another, regardless or race or economic status.

They react to these images like Dracula to a crucifix...it is very dangerous to their Big Gubm'nt agenda for anyone to see them. So they have to say, "Pay no attention to those images! What you are REALLY seeing is racism and class warfare. Look at those rich white folks treating those poor downtrodden blacks like ANIMALS!"

Exactly the opposite is true; we are truly seeing America at its finest: providing for our own, with love and compassion.

The media's insanity is glaring. These people are so deluded with their own agenda that they think that if they say up is down, right is wrong, black is white, America will believe it and like it!

Well, we're not that stupid.

And I hope EVERYONE took note of Tim Russert's true colors which were on vibrant display over the weekend. Anyone who thinks he is anything more than a low-rent, foam-at-the-mouth Democrat shill is fooling themselves.

You nailed it, but good!

The dinosaur is in the tar pit, and it's bellowing loudly.

We know the end result for the dinosaur. The question is, does the dinosaur realize it yet?

The MSM and the DumRats will not change their MO. They are only stepping it up to new levels. We all need to get outta their way and let 'em keep talking as the downward spiral will be spiralling even faster to their ultimate demise.

Good piece.

I think the Stone Age (love that tag line) media's wholesale flight from Afghanistan was the most cowardly exhibition in US journalism history. When the legion of sissies sent there by Manhattan’s "unbiased" media nabobs began to realize that people actually get killed in war zones, they loaded up three jets with their sorry selves and flew back to the US.

Network anchors tried to rationalize this disgraceful behavior by stating that "young journalists now no longer feel that putting their lives in danger should be part of their career." That's another way of saying cowardice is the holy locus, the new most sacred tenet, of MSM journalism philosophy.

Their conduct during Hurricane Katrina only drives that point another mile closer to home.

This was by far the worst case of news reporting in the history of this country.

This side of the Atlantic the Bush baiting in the British and Irish medias also started in earnest - natural disasters are meant to be times when non-partisanship prevails, but that is expecting too much decency from liberals!

I am not religious person, but last tonight while channel surfing, I lit upon the 700 Club. To put it mildly, I was most impressed as to what the people of faith are accomplishing.

Program was centered on Long Beach MS (haven't seen that town on MSM) which was almost wiped out and the Salvation Army there was in full operation. Field kitchen was feeding many storm victims hot meals. Even the out of state LEO and some military types were being feed and/or sheltered, and nothing was being done on the government dime.

Operation Blessing was running in the semi trucks, unloading food stocks and headed back out for more. All people making it happen were volunteers, and from what I saw, the entire operation was a model of efficiency and compassion.

Nondenominational Churches are working together with other non-governmental relief groups to meet with President Bush to work out a plan to synergize the operation to insure that as it grows, it does not overlap, nor miss areas where help is most urgent. Also, the nation's churches are networking so any church that can, will take from one to as many families as possible to give care and housing.

It was an uplifting and heartening thing to see, especially so after watching the doom and gloom MSM gaggle blubbering about all that is wrong, every individual victim's plight, and would the government be able to take care of them.

I also discovered that for all those storm victims in the Houston Astrodome, their food is supplied by donations and all three hot meals a day are cooked by volunteers. The churches in Houston are raising five million dollars to assist what they termed, their guests.

In short, to me, it was a vivid display of that old American can do spirit which the MSM and lefties love to denigrate. Saw a side of Pat Robertson I didn't know of, he appeared to be in his element and working his tail off to get things done.

Thanks for that post, government isn't the sole solution to disaster relief!
