Just don't "jump the shark", and you'll do fine.

Thanks for posting your cartoons. I find them enjoyable.

Are you, by any chance, left-handed?

Good job! I've always wanted to do political cartooning, but someone's got to read them. That's me.

Well, that and the fact I can't get my ideas down in pics. And my drawings suck. And they really aren't funny.

Good job to ya!

A few stumblingblocks.

Actually, only 6 short years ago, I couldn't draw anything either. I just taught myself. If you practice obsessively, after years of trying, you eventually get good.

I would suggest that you print smaller, and pay attention to both vertical and horizontal spacing. Your dialogue takes up as much space as the action. To me, that's a little distracting. Carry on!

I like it. The format could be a bit nicer -- but it's a pretty good cartoon.

I'm approaching the same number of views the first one got altogether. Ooohhh the suspense!

I have big, sloppy handwriting, but I'll try my best.

Why don't you just start a ping list?

Very good! Please don't lose your sense of humour on account of the (unfair) criticisms or you'll get to be a sad mofo like the rest of us!

Don't quit your day cartooning job, and wipe that paint
off your mouth.

You're heart's in the right place however.

Even with Photoshop, pencil is difficult to clean up. Use the pen. Try wider nib black and grays to fill in. Try a lettering guide to make your letters equal height and aid in line spacing. Pick one up at arts/crafts/drafting stores. Looks, something, like this:
_____________________________________
! _____________________________ !
! (_____________________________) !
! _____________________________ !
! ( ) !
! (_____________________________) !
! _____________________________ !
! ( ) !
! ( ) !
! (_____________________________) !
!_____________________________________!

for, say, 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" letters. It's plastic.

Good job!!

Use a pen with a microfine tip. Use a ruler and line your dialogue area lightly with pencil. Once it's written, erase lines completely with a high-polymer eraser. I use this method when I write letters or cards. I tape the card to a bigger piece of lined engineering paper, which makes it very easy to use a clear plastic ruler and draw evenly spaced lines. Once this is done, I print on the lines and then erase. I like your printing, and I just think you could frame it better.
