I wonder if Mother Sheehan and the Reverend Jackson compared notes on how to scam people out of money. Maybe Cindy could teach the master a thing or two.

Everyone understand that Sheehan is not doing all of these publicity stunts as a fight against the War in Iraq or as a protest about the loss of her Son who was a hero who served his country with honor.

She is doing this because she thrives on being in the public view. She needs the attention like a heroin junky needs his daily fix. Thats all this is about.

I hope that picture is plastered all over the news outlets. If anyone was inclined to take her seriously, that should take care of it.

The photo you're thinking of, from the June 16, 1971 issue of Daily World (posted here: http://ice.he.net/~freepnet/kerry/graphics/CDW0616_1.jpg), involved Kerry's support of Jackson's Operation Breadbasket. The VVAW/UCF gunrunning operation was a different operation, called Operation Heart of America:

In “Operation Heart of America”, a joint operation with the Fifth Avenue Vietnam Peace Parade Committee, the War Resisters League, and other Communist front groups in New York, Damato used the pretext of donating clothes and medical supplies to smuggle guns collected from VVAW regional chapters to the United Front, a black militant group in Cairo, Illinois linked to a St. Louis gang called the Black Liberators.
