I enjoy bashing the Cheese Eating - oops - I mean the French as much as the next guy.

But I have little respect for Subway when they do it because they have no problem bashing America.

How many of you remember this controversy from about a year ago: Subway Ends Fat Statue of Liberty Campaign?

It makes their protestations about not wanting to give offense seem a little disingenuous when they pulled the same stunt (only in reverse) about a year ago.
