It has been my experience that anyone anywhere can carry concealed without a permit, in the absence of a metal detector that is...
I saw one young man carry a semiautomatic in the national mall in the DC a few weeks back, I saw it while he was having his breakfast next to me at the McDonald's.

" -- Gun owners will be allowed to keep their firearms in their vehicle, even if the car is parked on private property where the owner has a no-gun policy. -- "
Incredibly enough, there are lots of conservatives on FR who insist that private property 'rights' are being violated by such laws.

If this could only be done nationwide, the overall crime rate would drop like a rock....Yes. It worked 200 years ago before we had 20,000 friggin gun laws on the books all over this country.
It appears the NRA is making progress. Glad I've been a Lifetime member since 1982.
Which leads me to suggest that those, who are not members, join; and if you are a member, get others to join.

I sold it! ;-)
It was sold with lack of concern for I own the copy rights to it!
Me thinks I have been bought out for I haven't seen it since I sold it....
I wonder what the new owners will replace it with?
I'm pleased with the knowledge of your presence and your input to FR!
I'm so pleased to get a concerned post from you.
regards,
EG

Great! Lets do here in Hawaii next. I'm afraid to take any of my guns out my front door, they have so many fire arms laws here. For instance: in transporting a gun, even to a shooting range, or anywhere else, has to be in a closed case and if it is in the trunk of the car the ammo has to be in another section of the car. And of course they all have to be registered. They make it so hard to sell a gun here that I just gave up on trying to sell any of mine. I guess they will have to be buried with me. (not joking)

Back in the '70s, a friend and I used to go to the range in Colorado every Saturday morning. Both of us were carrying unconcealed. We'd stop in a diner for breakfast, cops would come in and get their coffee. No problem.
Other times we'd go to a terrific Japanes restaurant near Larimar Square in Denver, park in the back and have to walk down a dark alley. Both of us were packing Browning Hi-Powers.
Bottom line: times were different then, than now. It APPEARS that the pendulum is beginning to swing back to common-flippin-sense.

S&W makes a 50. Or you could consider a 454 Casull.
Personally, I'll take a 9mm. Less mess.

Limited to those that read from the Corporate Bill of Right's in the Constitution, which I can't seem to find in my copy. Why is that? Rhetorical. Blackbird.
