The Democrats vicious attacks against President Bush and conservatives will take them to another crushing defeat at the “real” polls. One major problem with Democrats, their liberal base, and their media whores, is that they do not understand how much the majority of Americans in “Red States” despise them and despise everything they stand for.

When will they learn that continuing to falsely accuse the president of "manipulating prewar intelligence" will only prolong the war and directly cause the deaths of many more of our servicemen and women and countless more deaths or maiming of innocent civilians caught in terrorist attacks?

It's true that socialism and multicultural policies are to blame in Europe (and the politicians who promote such policies). But one key difference between here and there that is overlooked is the xenophobia in the European population. We are a much more tolerant people than Europeans (I have some knowledge of the French and Germans and much of the Swiss). European natives don't like other Europeans, much less non-Europeans. They constantly discriminate ironically because socialist government policy is so unduly favorable towards the immigrants. One quick example, a native Swiss businessman hires Italian workers who are now pensioned and wealthy while the Swiss, having gone out of business, has literally nothing. The Italians speak Italian and live in their own neighborhood even within a small town. They are, in many cases, better off than the Swiss natives and a multi-decade source of resentment.

But fortunately after one gets back into the real world for a few years all that goes away to various degrees. The wisdom of life trumps the knowledge of academia, at least for some.
