At the John and Ken website (linked), the photos of three of Tookies' victims victims have been posted. It's said that this monster has mended his ways, but I don't believe he has even apologized for these atrocities. But even if he had, he needs to be held accountable for his evil acts. I TRUST THAT GOV. SCHWARZENEGGER WILL NOT SPARE TOOKIE FROM HIS DATE WITH DEATH -- HIS DATE WITH ACCOUNTABILITY.

They have bodyguards and high fences to protect them from riffraff, so they can afford to be "tolerant" and "merciful" toward criminals.
Yup. You need to create an East and West California ala Virginia. West California would resemble Mass. or NY and East California would look like, oh, Montana vis a vis voting.

It is one of many pockets of liberalism, found in certain areas, and in certain professions, such as academia, that is guilt-ridden and guilt-driven. Are Hollywood libs any more delusional than any other libs? I doubt it.
This guy should fry. Does anyone realize how many gang killings were committed solely as a result of this man?
So streamline/improve the appeals process
For people with two or more prior violent felony convictions (ie, convicted of two felonies in two different trials), I would steamline the appeals to minimal level: have the state supreme court review the trail procedings, and if they find nothing objectionable have the execution proceed the following week.
For the case of a "three-strikes" offender, if it turns out he didn't do the third-strike crime, but got executed anyway, so what? The probability of executing a completely innocent man (innocent of the prior convictions as well) would be vanishingly small.
If he is given clemency, I will help gather signatures for total recall.

Just heard on Fox one of the guys said, "So give Tookie a Pulitzer Prize for his books, then execute him." ha.
Where does it say that a long drawn out appeal process qualifies a murderer for a Do Over? If this guy is given clemency I believe that Arnold should just go ahead and pardon the thug and have a Sheriff drive him to Mike Farrell's house at 4:00 AM and leave him at the front door.

That said, I'm fairly confident that Arnold will do the right thing.
