AN OPEN LETTER TO TIM ROBBINS, DAVID GEFFEN, CHRIS MATTHEWS, MAUREEN DOWD + JEANINE PIRRO

RE: a not-so-modest proposal concerning hillary clinton

December 7, 2005

Dear Concerned Americans,

Hillary Clinton's revisionist tome notwithstanding, 'living history' begets a certain symmetry. It is in that light that I make this not-so-modest proposal on this day, exactly 64 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The context of our concern today--regardless of political affiliation--is Iraq and The War on Terror, but the larger fear is that our democracy may not survive. We have the requisite machines, power and know-how to defeat the enemy in Iraq and elsewhere, but do we have the will?

In particular, do we have the will to identify and defeat the enemy in our midst?

Answerable to no one, heir apparent in her own mind, self-serving in the extreme, Hillary Clinton incarnates this insidious new threat to our survival.

What we decide to do about Missus Clinton will tell us much about what awaits us in these perilous new times.

Each of you, (for different reasons, surely), has expressed concern about Missus Clinton's putative candidacy in 2008, and, by doing so, has expressed concern inferentially about Clinton-machine control of the nominating process.

My proposal: Stop Missus Clinton in '06. Stop her in '06 and you will have stopped her in '08. A Senate en passant capture is THE MOVE....

To David Geffen and Tim Robbins: Why not field a challenger to Hillary Clinton in '06, someone who does possess the necessary positions, ethics and electability? And why not in the general election? A Perot plurality ploy would be poetic justice, if nothing else... and if carefully selected, that candidate wouldn't merely unseat Missus Clinton but could actually win.

To Jeanine Pirro: If, as Chris Matthews so trenchantly put it, "Pee Wee Herman would give her a race," why aren't you... a bright, talented, articulate, accomplished, charismatic, media-savvy independent woman who spent her 30-year career championing exactly the women Missus Clinton abused for 30 years... why aren't you in fact creaming Missus Clinton?

Stop running YOUR NEXT RACE, stop worrying about being slimed by the Clinton machine. Stop pulling your punches and start going after this corrupt, compromised, dangerous creature for real.



Just as it was exactly 64 years ago today, this is a watershed moment for America. It is my hope that all concerned Americans will do what they can to defeat the enemy.

What we decide to do about Missus Clinton will tell us much about what awaits us in these perilous new times.

In the senate race against Rick Lazio, it is widely understood that the "drag and drop," (followed by the OLD ANGLE / NEW SQUARE / OVAL OFFICE SCHEME ) was clinton's vote fraud technique of choice used to overcome her low poll numbers, high personal negatives and consistent public failures.


I KNEW IT WAS FRAUD! The votes were way too high in her favor. Remember the police and firemen booing her when she was on stage (not out ofcompassion but for publicity-duh!) right after 9/11. NYS is considered liberal but not that clueless - they have a repub gov. Lazio couldn't ask for a recount with that wide of a margin - and she knew that - that's why the massive fraud, imo. She did it in NY, she'll do it for her real desire, her throne.

I remember the final scene from the film 'Mad max' where the bad guy was handcuffed to a trashed automobile that was leaking gasoline. Mel Gibson gave him a hacksaw and told him that he had just enough time to saw off his arm and maybe get away before the fuel reached an ignition source and he would burn to death. Of course, the bad guy couldn't bring himself to do what had to be done and he was immolated. I think this is the same conundrum many on the left face with their alliance with the beast.

All the other adjoining orthodox Jewish communities voted en masse for Lazio...

x-fugitive Marc Rich is suspected of having become one of Saddam Hussein's middlemen in Iraq's illegal oil trade just a month after he won a controversial pardon from former President Bill Clinton, a news report said.

ABC News reported last night that Rich's alleged role in the growing UN oil-for-food scandal is under investigation by federal officials.

Rich, who was pardoned by Clinton in January 2001, and several other prominent oil traders are suspected of making illegal kickbacks to Iraq to win the lucrative oil contracts, the network reported.

The UN program was set up in 1996 to help Iraqis get food, medicine and other items that had been scarce under sanctions imposed after the 1991 Persian Gulf War. But investigators say Saddam realized more than $21billion under the program through kickbacks and other scams.

Rich fled the U.S. in 1986 while facing tax evasion charges.

The $100 billion Iraqi Oil for Food program was by far the largest relief operation in the history of the United Nations. By extension, it's rapidly becoming the U.N.'s largest-ever scandal....

Those included rewarding friends and allies world-wide with oil allocations on very favorable terms, as well as extracting large kickbacks from oil traders and suppliers of humanitarian goods....

There can be little doubt that U.N. mismanagement contributed greatly to the negative perception of the anti-Saddam containment policy. There is also little doubt that the reward and kickback scheme--as well the possibility of exposure--was a factor as some countries weighed whether to back U.S.-led regime change in Iraq. There is even reason to suspect that some of the Saddam friends and allies who benefited may have been members of the U.N. Secretariat.

The UN Oil-for-Food scandal, for example, has shown us it was not "going to war with Iraq" that was "all about oil," but rather, "not going to war with Iraq." The Left, we now see, had that one, (as they have most things), exactly backward.
