After KFI made an initial announcement earlier today that Gov. Schwarzeneggar was going to announce today at 3pm whether he has made a decision (he was not going to tell the decision), KFI has backtracked.
On its 3pm news broadcast, KFI reported that a Schwarzeneggar spokesperson has put out the word to the news media that they should call tomorrow after 3pm to see if he had made a decision. There was no confirmation that the governor would have a decision or that, if he had a decision, he would announce it.
The drama continues. This is so unfair to poor Tookie.

What a weird way of going about things. Why do they have to be called? Presumably if Arnold makes a decision, they'll announce it. "Don't call us, we'll call you" would have been a more appropriate reply.

I would think the only thing they'd need to announce is a decision in Tookie's favor...otherwise, the Governator ought to just say nothing, and let Tookie get the needle...

Ooh! I like the way you think. Don't forget about Ed Asner.
But, wait a minute, these people are famous, so they must know more than we peons.

I wouldn't give a multiple murderer the time of day. Anyway as I tried to tell you on the other thread before the Admin locked it, its that if Arnold does spare Williams' life all that we'll witness is how cheap justice is in this country when a murderer with the help of the rich and famous, can figure out how to wriggle out of a death sentence. For alledgedly writing books or whatever. The only question is: who will speak for Owens and the Yangs. I'm waiting to hear who will represent them tomorrow.

The longer Arnold delays the decision, the less likely he is to grant clemency. If he was going to do so there is no reason to delay like this.

Do you see it as good or bad? I don't know what to think. Crap.
To: wickedpinto
I think they're trying to delay this out of fear the Hollyweird legal experts stars and gadflies will riot.

A jury already decided this issue 24 years ago. It's time to carry out justice for his victims and for society.
