Can't find the petition on that site. Perhaps you should post a direct link to the petition itself.

I'll try again.

There are some sick people on FR...a few but there they are. Mostly I assume are Turkophiles.

"an intelligent wordy guy like you can't figure out a little Italian"

Are you sure that is in Italian? this is what the 'Fish' returned as a translation from Italian to English:

"Permitas que genocida a Como Ataturk does not hold a monument en Rome. Sumate to los esfuerzos por hacer de este mundo a lugar mas seguro.
http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr

Spanish to English did better.
"You do not allow that a genocida as Ataturk has a monument in Rome. Sumate to the efforts to make of this world a place surely but."

Am I gullible? Perhaps. Maybe the British, French, Indians, Australians, and New Zealanders were gullible in working with Atatürk during the attack on Gallipoli and Dardanelles? The White House may have been gullible in 1981 for issuing a statement describing him as "a great leader in times of war and peace". Anything is possible. So I will stick to domestic politics, and hope my fellow FReepers can discern propoganda from fact before attempting to influence the affairs of foreign nations.

Do your own research Mr "Historian", but don't expect me to respect propaganda sites. You can start educating yourself by reading:

Balakian's The Burning Tigris

or Dr, Papazian's remarks here:

Hey I don't have a argument with you personally I just question your motives. Let me quote someone really quickly:

"They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country." (1 - 2)

Oooh ooh wait a minute he was lying.

Oh and wait one second could it be that Dr Papazians lying as well.

http://www.tallarmeniantale.com/papazian-rebuttal.htm

And then it comes down to "Do I really care"

You should understand that the Muslim Turkish parastate spends millions of dollars propagating lies about what Turks did to the Chrstians in the 20 century (let's not even discuss what they have done over the centuries since they arrived from the depths of Asia.)

Turkey calls itself secular but in fact it is a Muslim state with 99.9% of the population Muslims having destroyed the Christian communities over the years.

What are you doing here if you don't care? I wonder....

No you don't really care because you know that your postings are so absolutely phony...especially the tall armenian one. That's well known Turkish propaganda site. You should know better than to refer to it.

Dr Balakian is not lying but Muslim Turks lie as a part of their nature and they just love finding gullible Americans like yourself who buy into the secular myth.

Start thinking

LOL no I'm just pointing out the holes in your argument. You post something without any backup and expect everyone to accept it without question. Well, there are questions and this argument has raged across the net for some time (as I'm sure you well know).

I've pointed you to a few links and your argument is that's all phony. You don't even attempt to backup your argument with facts or even try to prove me wrong. You attack on a personal level thinking in some strange way that it makes your argument valid.
