Here's a word of advice- do not sign off on your medical for awhile, some cervical, lumbar and other injuries take awhile to show up. I concur with Cate's advice.
I'm grateful it wasn't worse and I'll keep you in my prayers.
To: Alouette
Godspeed your recovery.
Shake off the experience in the embrace of family and friends.

It would be inappropriate to add words onto Leni's in Post 100, so I will just pray :)

I wish you a speedy recovery and that you can find the circle to put back in GOD.........may the circle be un-broken and put back into his name.

Delighted you're all right. Please be extra aware of your body movements, especially with respect to twisting and balance, for the next few days. You're going to ache a bit even if nothing else is wrong.
Consider this - it wasn't your time to go, and hence God has other plans for you. I do not believe these things are only luck.

Prayers up Alouette for a speedy recovery.

Prayers for a speedy recovery. Glad it was only the car that was "totaled" and not you!

May the One who was a source of blessing for our ancestors, bring blessings of healing upon Alouette, a healing of body and a healing of spirit. May those in whose care they are entrusted be gifted with wisdom and skill, and those who surround them be gifted with love and trust, openness and support in their care. And may they be healed along with all those who are in need. Blessed are You, Source of healing.

OUCH!
Good to hear that you're okay with mere bruises, but still, OUCH!

Alouette, thank goodness you were mercifully spared .. so you can be with us. Sorry for your present pain, and I do pray it passes quickly for you. Cars can be replaced, YOU can't.
A blessed Chanukah to you!

God bless you and speed your recovery. Remember, your car can be replaced, but you can not!
Mrs. Reb was in an accident several years ago that totaled her car, but she escaped with few bruises and a scuff on her wrist from the airbag. She felt OK that day, but was very sore for a couple of days afterwards from the soft tissue damage from the impact. We spent the next couple of weeks dealing with insurance companies, police, car dealers, a salvage company and so forth. That was worse than the accident!
Lessons we learned: Take your pain medicine and take it easy for a few days.
