On January 4, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. (PST) the Rose Bowl Game will host the BCS National Championship, between USC and Texas once again showcasing the best of collegiate football in "The Granddaddy of Them All."® The Rose Bowl will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and on ESPN radio.

Everyone I know "hates" USC for alot of reasons too!
Good thing they voted on the Heisman before this game. I think tonight would have changed some votes.

As much as I despise the Rollturders, I have to say they put one hell of a defense on the field this year. Big at the tackles and fast off the ends. Their LBs fly to the ball and knock the snot out of you. DBs are a little undersized, but they are physical in coverage and play the run real well. Too bad (not really) their offense couldn't score in a Texas whorehouse.
Can't have a 3 time winner, bad for the rateings.
Texas had ONE great player....the rest were okay at best. The crapy officating will keep the NCAA in the news for weeks=$$$$$$.
Pity for the USC team, the fix was in long before kick-off.
Eric Dickerson did just fine in the NFL with a straight up running style.

Then you obviously have not seen Jim Brown, Gayle Sayers, O.J. Simpson, or Eric Dickerson play. They were all game-breakers.
PSU did not play their best ball last night. tOSU did play their best game of the year on Monday. What a great game that was. Not as good as this one, but great.

I don't blame him. I'm a fan of Leinart's. It's hard to be a gracious loser, and it's often forced and fake. Matt's reaction was real. So credit him for honesty. He had a great second half, and Texas stopped his offense just in time. I don't blame him for his reaction at all.
Be that as it may, I'm sure he'd rather be quoted saying something else. This game will be remembered for a long time.

C'mon. The main knock on Leinart is arm strength was throwing lasers in the second half. My brother has seen him from the sidelines a couple times and he's very good--and big.
But Vince was in a Jordan-esqe zone tonight.

I think their defense played their best game against Texas.
The game Monday night was their most COMPLETE game......
Now they're just liberal paperweights. 
I agree. I do think that only Ohio State and maybe LSU could have given them any sort of game.
