If a player can go in the top 10, he should always leave for the NFL. The chance of injury in football is too great.

Exactly! and that is why I think Young should come out now. Hey Vince just think how many women you can get with MILLIONS! :D

It's going to be even more fun to here the spin tonight from ESPN on how the University of Spoiled Children lost. Not how the University of Texas won.

Maybe you saw Chris Fowler spinning after ABC signed off. He looked like somebody killed his puppy. And Herbstreit hung that whole "USC best team in history" crap on him also. Corso is two-faced - he tries to be a fan of whichever team has fans screaming now his neck in the background. What a joke. Almost makes you long for Lou Holtz and Mark May. Almost.

The eyes of Texas are upon you,
All the live-long day.
The eyes of Texas are upon you,
You cannot get away.
Do not think you can escape them,
At night or early in the morn.
The eyes of Texas are upon you,
Till Gabriel blows his horn.

:o)

Good call. I'd say wide receiver since he doesn't look like he can block. As you say, the talent is too great to pass up.

Exactly! and that is why I think Young should come out now.

If Young is projected anywhere in the top 15 he should leave immediately. For every running QB like Michael Vick that is drafted in the top 5 there are 50 Michael Bishops, Scott Frosts and Eric Crouchs that are never drafted.

If he is anywhere in the top 15, he can cash in on a large signing bonus and then have three years to work on his passing and learn the pro game. Winning the heisman or a college championshp no longer brings any NFL value.

I think that Mark May is the most intelligent and well spoken analyst on ESPN. He isn't very charasmatic but he knows how to get his point across and doesn't seem to be a fanboy of any team.

To his credit, Herbstreet (sp?) is pretty fair and pretty well spoken. Corso is right about 50% of the time because he just guesses.

I agree, staying in college could and probably would lose him more than comming out right now. Next year he will have to compete with Brad Quinn and Jeff Smardzjia and not sure who all else. Not to mention he could get hurt for no reason.

Not sure, but I think the Cowboys turned a quarterback from Washington that didn't amount to much in that position into a wide receiver or tight end, forget his name. Anybody know of any examples there?

Southern Cal by 21. Vince fumbles and throws picks all night. Lendale White vows to return and gains 2,000+ yards next year.

Uh, close.

If Vince Young comes out, he'll be either the 2nd or 3rd pick.
Some team might make him a running back.
