Kerry The Brave ("Filibluster")
National Review Online ^ | 1/26/06 | Byron York

Posted on 01/26/2006 1:51:22 PM PST by frankjr

From a Senate source: Kerry's call for a filibuster comes after his leadership, that is, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, decided there won't be one. In other words, Kerry was making a brave, Kos-friendly pronouncement in the total confidence that a filibuster will never happen. And now, word is, he is off to Davos to continue what some Republicans are calling a "filibluster."

They are really something over there at the DUmp. Don't they know that most other Dems in the senate can't stand Kerry. I doubt dingy harry would even support a filibuster. Not because he like Alito, but because this is a great chance to embarrass Kerry. If he gets enough egg on his face then maybe he will have to STFU from now on. I bet he couldn't get 30 Dems to filibuster.

Kerry / Gore 2008

I don't think Gore would go for that. After all, he won the popular vote in 2000. Kerry only got 47% in 2004.

If those two run together (which would be the most wonderful gift to the USA that I or any conservative could imagine, it would be so much darn fun!), then I think it would have to be:

Gore / Kerry 2008

"Kerry really has them cheering over at DU."

I think this is great. There will not be a philly-buster and the two nit-wits from Mass, Kerry and Kennedy will look like flaming idiots.

By next week there will be some very, very foul adjectives attached to Mr. Kerry's name on DU once they realize their Useful Idiot is only an idiot.

I agree. They are practically wetting themselves with joy that their hero, Kerry is going to lead a filibuster - without seeming to realize that 1) Kerry isn't even in the country right now, and so he can't lead a filibuster; and 2) there are already more than 60 confirmed votes for cloture. They are into a mutual-mental-masturbation frenzy, imagining scenarios where the other Dem senators will rise to support the virtuous Kerry, and defeat the evil Scalito!

Based on what I am reading, Kerry will accomplish his true gaol - not blocking Alito, that ws never possible. No, his true goal is to gain the support of the left-wing moonbats for his 2008 run. They are practically falling over themselves pledging their undying loyalty for this "bold demonstration of principle!(/Sarcasm)"

Davos - that's where former CNN head Eason Jordan made those remarks about US troops targeting journalists for assassination in Iraq. His scalp hangs proudly on the blogosphere mantle thanks to those remarks. How fitting that Kerry chose the place to once again prove what a flaming ass he is.

What's funny is that the DUmmies and Kos Kiddies are doubtless eating Lurch's drivel up and worshipping him as we speak. They just can't see what a cheap, shameless, pandering whore Kerry is. No insult to whores is intended.

That is what is so great about it. The lefties get all worked up about something and believe victory is in their grasp only to end up big losers once again. Whether it's Plamegate, 2004 exit polls, 2000 election or NSA surveillence. It is always most satisfying watching them crash and burn just before they reach climax (so to speak).

Kerry told Tim Russert that he would sign Form 180. The records released, from his signature on Form 180, may not reflect his discharge record from 1972 because "Jimmah Cartah" granted amnesty to every anarchist that tried to destroy the very fabric that holds the United States together. I don't believe that we will ever learn the true nature of John Kerry's discharge in 1972 thanks to Carter.

"John Kerry reminds me of the dinner guest who offers to help clean up, just as the last plate is being dried and put away."

PERFECT analogy. Props.
And to the DUmmies who buy this crap... (insert mocking evil laugh here)

I am not sure. In fact I was just practice throwing in my office.

I would say that this picture shows him throwing off the wrong foot for sure.

He can't even pretend and get it right for a photo op.
