WASHINGTON, February 3, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) February is Black History Month in the US, but at least one organization is questioning whether there will be any African-Americans to commemorate the event, as abortion is preferentially committed against the group.
One analyst argues that the discrepancy can be traced back to the racist foundation of Americas largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood. Author Juluette Bartlett Pack, in her essay, A Historical View of Eugenics and Its Role in Abortion in Black America, states, I argue that there are historical precedents both external and internal to the Black community that have shaped present day attitudes. The search for an answer leads to the number one abortion provider in America and internationally, Planned Parenthood Federation and its founder, Margaret Sanger.
Early on the Black birth rate was identified as a problem, Bartlett Pack explains. In issues of The Birth Control Review, Margaret Sanger's magazine, dating from the summer of 1932, many of the so called prominent leaders in the Black community contributed articles articulating their views on the solution of the Negro problem.
Paul Jalsevacs LifeSiteNews.com Special Report, The Inherent Racism of Population Control, sheds further light on Sangers efforts to exterminate African-Americans from the country. She initiated a program in 1929 to fulfil this end called The Negro Project.
She decided to undertake the project in response to requests from some southern public health officials, Jalsevac explains. She believed that the mass of Negroes breeding in the south was a dysgenic horror, and, therefore, decided to pay off three or four colored Ministers, preferably with social service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities, to propagandize birth control in various areas with high concentrations of African Americans.
Jalsevac continues: She explains her strategy as follows:
The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the Minister is the man who can straighten out the idea if it ever occurs to any of their rebellious members.
Her campaign was a concerted effort to swindle African Americans into participating in their own extermination, Jalesevac adds. Unfortunately, she met with much success. Birth control clinics began springing up in black communities all over the south, beginning a process that would continue until today. The long-term result of her work was that, by the 1980s, Planned Parenthood could take pride in the fact that three out of every four abortions in the United States were black abortions a trend that has continued into today.
Focus on the Familys Family News in Focus talked to Betty Jean Wolfe of the Urban Family Council, who warned that African-Americans are committing genocide against ourselves. Wolfe explained that many African-American women are victim to Sangers lies. I think that a number of our women, Im African American, have fallen prey to that strategy as well. Family News cited Philadelphia as a good example, of the selective targeting of abortion against African-Americans, where 48% of all the abortions performed are on black women.
Akua Furlow, in her essay, African-American Women Are Exploited by Abortion, reveals even more damning evidence of Sangers agenda: In a letter dated December 10, 1939, Sanger wrote to Dr. Clarence Gamble of a plan to exterminate the Negro population, she writes. Planned Parenthood apologists deny the intent of this statement referring to a genocidal plot, yet rebuff the fact that the world's most notorious Nazis and racists made up the bulk of the contributors to Sangers monthly publication, the Birth Control Review.
It would be time well spent if African-Americans, especially those Planned Parenthood uses for its public service campaigns, would spend an afternoon doing first-hand research on this federation that has caused the astronomical decline in the African-American birth rate and has fostered the forced abortion and sterilization policies in China, Furlow emphasizes. Many believe the China policy of one child per family is a pilot project that will target other underdeveloped nations and eventually here in the U.S.

When wasn't it?
the second reason the Demoncratic party
Initially this sounds like the rant of an hysterical leftist, but she has some valid points. Margaret Sanger was a horrible racist and did want blacks to be exterminated, along with other people she deemed inferior. And abortion is an atrocity no matter what the color of the mother's skin.
It's barely gotten started, how can it be obsolete?
To paraphrase Dave Chapell as the conspiracy guy in Undercover Brother:
Black History month is February the shortest month of the year. That's why "The Man" gives it to us.
Need to stop all those health disparities ya know!

There should be no contribution to Planned Parenthood in the fed budget!
What bunk.
There is no shortage of black babies and nobody is forced to murder their children.
Abortion should be illegal. However, this claim is pure rubbish.
If you read my link a little more closely, the monies are coming from NGOs and being filtered through Gov departments through partnerships established by Clinton before he left office.
When is "White History Month"?
