What Is It With Democrats And Funerals?
polipundit ^ | February 07th, 2006 | Lorie Byrd

What is it that makes Democrats incapable of controlling their hostility, even during funerals?

Especially during funerals.

Rush Limbaugh just played a clip of today’s “Wellstone Funeral moment” from Rev. Joseph Lowry in which he raised the issue of weapons of mass destruction in the Coretta Scott King funeral, then talked about how not enough money is going to the poor.

I know I have seen figures that indicate that Bush has spent more on some programs for the poor than Clinton did, but it wouldn’t matter if he had spent ten times more.

Facts don’t matter.

This is pure theater, folks.

Can you imagine how the media would have reported a Republican using the Reagan funeral to make the point that Democrats were wrong about communism and that they are just as wrong on terrorism?

Fortunately we have a President with more class in his little finger than the entire Democrat party.

Following the Lowry comments, Bush gave him a hug.

Carter proved today that he is no Christian. Bush is the only proven Christian today.

Even at small time funerals for a want-to-be-DUmmie, they go crazy.

I have seen it...it was amazing.

No talk of how nice the person was or what positive thing that person did...

Democrats have no shame. That is why they can easily slip into a political campaign during a funeral. Others have moral restraint. Not the Democrats.

The Dems remind me of Vampires.

Commie-Vampires that suck the lifeblood out of everything good and decent.

They shrink from God and flag, and are obsessed with death.

Ya' know, I wonder how they would react if, tomorrow morning, the papers were full of cartoons showing the demented democrat antics at that funeral. Maybe a large MLK looking down, at the funeral of his wife, who is being lauded by 4 US Presidents, two of which are carrying on a nightmare of hate, intolerance, and vile disrespect at his beloved's final viewing. "I Had a Dream" would be his bubble thought.

Would dems. be rioting in the streets/demanding a retraction? OF the TRUTH??

Yep. The only fools who show this guy any respect are fascist and anti-American. Certainly no mainstream American has any respect or honor for this traitor. Unfortunately it's gone to his head and because of this "adoration" by these types, he now believes he has the credibility that he could never achieve before. It has emboldened him into a false sense of importance. He truly is a dangerous man if this crowd is who he chooses to saddle up to.
Ironically they'd slit his throat if it suited them and he's too dumb to figure it out.
Perfect example of "useful idiot".

Remember the Lt. Governor ( Democrat Pa), who went to a Marine’s funeral last year, handed out her cards ...

and said, “Our government is opposed to this war.”

I wish tomorrows papers would say:
"The only dignitary at the memorial to truly honor Coretta Scott King was GW Bush. The others exploited her memory in an ugly game of political sport."
AND...
"Teddy Kennedy spoke of MLK being wiretapped [as an attempt to demonize the Bush administration], without mentioning it was his own brothers who ordered those taps."

Think it will happen???

I think it has something to do with having the attention of people who are trapped and CAN'T GRACEFULLY LEAVE.

My ultra liberal sister talked about politics at our father's graveside services when she had the entire family in attendance. It would have been tacky for any of us to punch her in the mouth, she knew we HAD to listen to her, something that we never would have done otherwise.

They know a captive audience when they see one. They knew the majority of the people in attendance were just as rabid as they are, why not take advantage when you can play to the house. As an example, if you own a cross dog, do you let it loose in a crowd? The relatives and attendees loved it, and therein is the racial problem in this country. If the family wants their mother's funeral to be a mockery and a platform for hatred, let it be. It certainly speaks volumes for MLK's dream.

Lack of respect. Can't take them anywhere without them acting up....sort of like unruly children.

Better analogy: dog returning to his vomit.

Rush Limbaugh just played a clip of today’s “Wellstone Funeral moment” from Rev. Joseph Lowry in which he raised the issue of weapons of mass destruction in the Coretta Scott King funeral,

I was watching it live and what you couldn't "see" on the radio program was that when Lowry took his cheap shot at the president, Hillary jumped out of her chair, clapping enthusiastically and shouting encouragement to the reverend. Her face was beaming and she was in full campaign mode. the whole crowd erupted in celebration, but Hillary appeared to be the most animated one on the stage.

I'm sorry the President and those with class and the right motives for being there, for memory of Coretta Scott King, had to sit through it. It was embarrasing. What a bunch of losers.

Yeahhh, there's nothing like a good old democrat-coopted funeral to make you get the giggles. You could almost wish there was one of 'em dropping every day...

The liberals have no class.

I have seen this happen, too.

That person should be left out of the will.

Sounds like another great RNC clip to prove this wretched woman's true character.
She just can't hide who she is when acting spontaneous.
