On CNN today, Bill Bennett hit back at the American media, especially CNN, for refusing to show the Danish cartoons that sparked the current controversy. During the lead-in, CNN showed a number of anti-Semitic cartoons from Middle Eastern newspapers as part of a feature story on double standards in the Arab world. But when the segment turned to a debate between Bennett and Arab American Institute president James Zogby, Bennett criticized CNN for its own double standard showing the anti-Semitic cartoons as part of a news story, but refusing to show the Danish cartoons:

Chuckling a bit. I thought that was the name of a new CNN show. Double Standard.
Not being a big Bennett fan, I thought, who better to be on the show?

The hypocrites are the muslims who are burning down buildings because of a cartoon, while running anti-Jewish anti-US cartoons all the time themselves.

So, we can expect rioting, pillaging, murdering, wild-eyed mobs of Jews to swarm the streets and create mayhem now?

See, now you don't get it at all; their prohpet mohammed is "the light of the world to muslims and non-muslims" so it's wrong to be disrespectful of him. But taunting Jews and Christians is perfectly fine since we don't believe the psychotic ravings of an eight century child molester.

Man he nailed Zogby. Zogby has the unfortunate task of defending the indefensible.

Bill Bennett has been hammering hard Muslim and the "alien media nation" hypocrisy all week. So CNN will show anti-Semitic and anti-Christian but NOT anti-Muslim cartoons. CNN is a bunch of hypocrites.
This is "breaking" "news"?

Not new show. It's their motto.

If Bennett doesn't tread lightly he will not be at CNN very long. I don't believe there are are enough Republicans watching CNN to, support having him on.
My wife and I are the ruler's in our home and, we make sure
CNN is never allowed in to any part of said home. I wish we could say we never support any of their adds but by not watching, we can't say that, darn!

He's history. Watch the video. He did two no-no's - 1)he made CNN look like bigots, and 2) he told the true.

I saw Bennet on CNN yesterday going at it with Zogby... I don't see how he could have stayed on the set with such a shameless, double-standard. I would have walked off.
The pathetic Blitzer then immediately repeats CNN's gutless policy!
