The assumption has always been that everything is already known about clinton corruption. I suspect we've only seen the tip of the iceberg.

And many people know very little about what is already known. For example, many people don't have a clue about the clintons' rape of Juanita Broaddrick.

Missus clinton has 100% name recognition and at most 10% corruption recognition, which means her support has only one way to go. And it isn't up.

Let's turn your questions around, jla. You seem to know a lot about Allen and Pence. What, specifically, makes them qualified?

Pence and Allen, as incumbent elected representatives to the United States Congress, can only be judged by how they've supported the President and his initiatives regarding the WOT. Both men pass the grade magnificently as each has adamantly and persistently supported GWB's agenda as it pertains to the WOT.Both men have given every indication that they would continue on in like manner.
Aside from the WOT a President's job entails much more. As important as the former is, it's success could very well be hampered by an economic downturn along with further moral erosion in this country.
Pence and Allen are proven social and economic conservatives who don't belittle Judeo-Christian values. Those very same values this nation was founded upon.
Pence and Allen also would'nt seek to unconstitutionally disarm law-abiding citizens, nor would they support the denigration of the institute of marriage.

I'm disappointed by your misuse of that photo. (Ad hominem in drag is still ad hominem.)

If the high-heel fits...
And if you're disappointed now, you're in for a lot more if Giuliani declares his intention to run in '08. That picture will be ubiquitously published across this country.
And a point of clarification: If I had Photoshopped the image then your charge of "ad hominem" would be justified. Since it is an actual image your charge is invalid.

If post-9/11 New York City is a microcosm of post-9/11 America, (and it is) then how can you say he hasn't demonstrated his competence to be POTUS during these perilous times?

Then why not run Bloomberg? NYC hasn't been attacked since he's been mayor.

It's always been the fear of Hillary becoming president someday that has kept people from investigating and/or revealing the depth of their corruption. The moment it becomes apparent that these felons will never soil (pardon the pun) the oval office again, and the fear of retribution (aka death) is eliminated, the real story will finally be told

Mike Pence's position on homeland security can be found here, along with links to other issues important for any serious contender of the Presidency.

You can learn more about Senator Allen here.

Unfortunately no data, pertaining to national issues, on Rudy Giuliani is available.

Boy, was I wrong. The press protected her very large behind.

Yup, and they're still doing so, as you no doubt know.

The assumption has always been that everything is already known about clinton corruption. I suspect we've only seen the tip of the iceberg.

With the modern public Internet, I think we're going to soon REALLY find out about the Whitewater fiasco, what REALLY happened at the Rose Law Firm, explain the mysterious deaths of Vince Foster and Ron Brown, explain all that womanizing by former President Clinton, prove or disprove once and for all rumors that Senator Clinton has lesbian tendencies, and who knows what other skeletons in the closet we have yet to learn about.

Like I said earlier, Senator Clinton won't know what hit her.

My little pun notwithstanding, photoshopping isn't the only way to misrepresent a photo. Not supplying the context or implying a false context are others. I don't know what you were trying to prove with that photo--(ok, perhaps I do)--but Rudy put on the lipstick and lace for charity.

Mr. Giuliani's gender-bending performance earlier this month at a charity dinner has won him accolades from voters, who judged his spoof of Marilyn Monroe a hit, a poll showed yesterday.

The former prosecutor stunned the audience at the annual Inner Circle show March 1 when he appeared on stage in a blonde bouffant wig, pancake makeup and bosomy pink gown.

He did a reprise of Ms. Monroe's famous, breathy serenade to John F. Kennedy, "Happy birthday, Mr. President" and cavorted with actress Julie Andrews and other cast members of the Broadway musical "Victor/Victoria," which is about a woman masquerading as a man masquerading as a woman.

If post-9/11 New York City is a microcosm of post-9/11 America, (and it is) then how can you say he hasn't demonstrated his competence to be POTUS during these perilous times?--me

Then why not run Bloomberg? NYC hasn't been attacked since he's been mayor.--you

You know that parameter is hardly sufficient. That said, Bloomberg would probably make a better president than most

An interesting take on Giuliani

Stop Clintons' Undermining Machinations

Your tagline is the best reason not to vote for Giuliani...

If Giuliani was serious about knocking Hitlery out of the box he would take her out of the Senate first.

He will only get in it (or made to appear so by the leftists in the media) to help Hitlery.

Machiavellian tactics like the last New York race for Hitlery's senate seat.

“Global character,” persuasive speaker??? I sure as hell ain't impressed...

We need a man of physical stature as president... Giuliani don't cut it in that department... skinny, bald, glasses, weak and sickly...

Now, George Allen fits the bill and so does Jeb Bush. Either one of those fellas look good in a Stetson and pointy boots. (Condoleeza looks good in spike heeled boots and has a steely glare.)

War on Terror??? It ain't gonna be won in a courtroom by skinny, tassle shoed, pencil neck lawyers...

Weaponized garments and a warrior affect as requirements work for me. ;)
(Of course, that just about eliminates all presidents past, present and wannabe.)

Speaking of personal affectations and facades, I'd say a "global character" would be a good example.
The requirement that works for me is one who has read, and comprehends, our Constitution. Guiliani does not meet this condition.

Question: Do you believe Giuliani would seek the Presidency out of a sincere wish, stemming from patriotism and love for America, to serve our nation or because he's attracted to the power and prestige of the office?

Lincoln was tall, rigorously strong, a rail splitter and was an accomplished fist fighter...

Giuliani was none of those. Nice try...

Good intentions... and a philosophy consistent with winning the wot... are necessary characteristics, but they are not sufficient.

The GOP candidate in '08 must, in my view, have a proven record of accomplishment in that area. The era of the Placebo President is over.

Perhaps more important, he (and I believe the winning candidate will be a 'he')* must (obviously) have the ability to win the election. And I'm not sure Allen or Pence does.

It isn't that they can't see the solution. It is that they can't see the problem.

G. K. Chesterton

... While America appears not to be ready for a female president under any circumstances, the post-9/11 realities pose special problems for a female presidential candidate. Add to these the problems unique to missus clinton. The reviews make the mistake of focusing on the problems of the generic female presidential candidate running during ordinary times.

These are not ordinary times. America is waging the global War on Terror; the uncharted territory of asymmetric netherworlds is the battlefield; the enemy is brutal, subhuman; the threat of global conflagration is real.

Defeating the enemy isn't sufficient. For America to prevail, she must also defeat a retrograde, misogynous mindset. To successfully prosecute the War on Terror, it is essential that the collective patriarchal islamic culture perceives America as politically and militarily strong. Condi Rice excepted, this requirement presents an insurmountable hurdle for any female presidential candidate, and especially missus clinton, historically antimilitary--(an image, incidentally, that is only enhanced today by her clumsy, termagant parody of Thatcher), forever the pitiful victim, and, according to Dick Morris, "the biggest dove in the clinton administration."

It is ironic that had the clintons not failed utterly to fight terrorism... not failed to take bin Laden from Sudan... not failed repeatedly to decapitate a nascent, still stoppable al Qaeda... the generic female president as a construct would still be viable... missus clinton's obstacles would be limited largely to standard-issue clintonisms: corruption, abuse, malpractice, malfeasance, megalomania, rape and treason... and, in spite of Juanita Broaddrick, or perhaps because of her, Rod Lurie would be reduced to perversely hawking the "First Gentleman" instead of the "Commander-in-Chief."
