You are absolutely right.
1) I have never watched as much as a single minute of Oprah.
2) I don't care what anyone says over the airwaves because all broadcast programs can be turned OFF.
3) The FCC is a joke and they should stop investigating complaints of "offensive language".
4) Usually when I discuss "ejaculate" as a sexual function with people I know, I've used normal language that REAL people use, not the clinical word "ejaculate".
[I suggest that female sex addicts be sent to me for further study.]
Female sex addicts are like cities: A nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there.
Being married to one would be fun for awhile, but you have to go to work sometime. And when you do, she'll be over at the neighbors' houses.
In the interest of fairness, I would guess male sex addicts would be no different.
Oprah is part of Americana...I'm proud to say I've been on the Oprah show...you try to come up with a topic for a show every single day. Sometimes she slips up. She'll realize that soon enough. It's really not such a big deal. And sex addiction is a disease.
That's your job. Quit demanding government steal your neighbor's money to control your TV set the way you wish.
No wonder the Republican Party has gone crazy squandering our hard-earned money.

She is a major waste of broadcast time. Then again, she's hardly the only one..

I've never seen it, not even when my wife (now ex) was on it.
I understand that she has a program which she has to sell to advertisers by making it as appealing to her audience as possible, and she is so good at doing it that she makes many millions of dollars a year.
I have no reason to believe that her program is immoral or unethical (despite what her critics may say about the content) and if she gets rich with her program, who am I to complain?
Yet another reason my home's TVs are only either showing my Xbox games and my MST3K DVDs and tapes.
Oh, ok. i'm familiar with that story. Didn't know the author's name. Thought it was maybe another Amber Frey story.
Then Mom ought to turn off the TV and help the kids with their homework.
That's the part of the Oprah show that really bothers me--her incessant need to play psychologist when a psychiatrist is doing the talking. She's always the voice of authority.

I've seen a few minutes of it - it was an informercial for the Weep Industry. Perfect for the stay-at-home bonbon-munching set.
