"Well said and exactly right - The MSM (and weak-kneed politicans) are once again making fools of themselves in the eyes of history."
Regretably we have to give them an A for trying. At least these small victories of sort, really a big thing in this particular case, are slowly coming to fruitation. Surely foreign and local insurgent groups are going to find it much harder to get anything done as they get decimated, and pointed out. As they get pushed into the remote western desert and have no water and food after the last remaining sunni held outpost towns out there place phone calls. You know the rest of the story, probably better then I.

...they've ( Sunni and Shiia clerics) to not attack holy places.

They don't consider the US and allies holy.

a week ago, there was more than 100k wanting to kill the Danes too...numbers numbers.

Don't get me wrong, i know the majority of Iraq's populace want an end to the violence. A majority also want the US and allies out of there yesterday.

You have the reality of the real process that is occurring week by week down pat -

Best regards,

Looks like they are loosing the civil war. Their generals must not have sufficient resources to continue the fight. And their counterpart new media gain ever increasing successful battles against them on a daily basis. Much like what happened in the pacific in the 40's is now repeated. Island hopping. Only neutralize those island garrisons really required to win the war, without over straining ones resources. Then once huge carrier battle groups are trained and on the high seas, go after their frigen juggler vein. Semper Fi to the new news media sources. Man. I am starting to loose it. ha ha.

It's the same old media template as their "Bush Scandal du Jour" delusions.

The Never Ending "Iraq Civil War" Stories

Likewise. And thanks to Freepers like yourself and folks like Bill Roggio, Michael Yon, some of us have been given an somewhat unique gift. I have tried to follow all angles since this war started. Fortunatly we have had the good blog sites, that I only mentioned of two to fall back on, as well as in some cases military in the field who know what is going on.
It saddens me when one presents verifiable information that is hard to dispute, only to find those that claim to be free thinkers but will not take the steps to work out their reasoning when it is discovered they follow the L/MSM gentry to the tee. Such is life. But at least we can be thankful more goals are close to fruitation then not.

He sure as hell wasn't going to be killed with a 24 or 48 hour cease fire either.Stupid ass politics isn't going to kill him either,or Sadr.

It will go bad for zman, but not until Iraq does something about Al Sadar and the Association of Muslim Scholars. These guys are trouble. Most of the damage that has been done the past couple of days has been done by Sadar's men.

The curious thing is, one of Sadar's militia was interviewed and he mentioned seeing a lot of men clad in the black of Sadar's Brigade that he has never seen before. They were better dressed and had modern weapons. Hizbollah? or is it Iran?

Especially when he likely wasn't there to begin with - Nor was there a full cease fire (like the MSM have reported) - Those spotted leaving the Mountain were engaged (this is often never told). What is also often never told is the very notion of "securing" or "cutting off all escape routes" from the Tora Bora mountain range is absolute BS....Not possible.

However we are in full agreement about "stupid as$ politics" not being helpful. But those politics are coming from within the Mil and Pentagon HQ's (not the WH, and not from this CIC).

Regarding Sadr...I posted above regarding him and that situation.

Regards,

No use going into the well reherse long lists many of us could type out.

When the old media made such a big fuss about museums being looted (which turned out to be mostly false) I learned not to pay too much attention.

I see a Freudian slip here:

"...Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist)."

Interesting... Fight WITH the Antichrist, not against! Sometimes the truth sneaks out!

You are blessed. My awakening came many years ago. It is tough to live with truths to many sherk with their very being at not wanting to accept. But as some notable figures throughout history have devulged, knowledge has a price.

The price I pay, though I am in no way notable, is screaming fits directed at the TV or video monitor.

Thank your nephew for his service for me. My Army Son-in-Law just got back from his tour. He will be getting a Purple Heart and maybe something else (so the Army says) but he did get another rocker to 1st Sgt. And to top it off he got a son during his tour.

Sadr's willingness to make peace with the Sunnis indicates to me that he played no part in the bombing of the Golden Dome shrine. The most likely culprits seem to be Baathist diehards or Al Qaeda nutballs.
