"Muslim Brotherhood Children's Website: America Aspires to Control the Muslim World & Our Role is to Prepare Ourselves for Jihad Against the Enemies of Allah; Murdering Children is Part of Judaism"
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The home page of the website of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, http://www.ikhwanonline.com , links to the children's website, http://www.awladnaa.net ("Our Children"). This site contains various sections on different subjects, including praise for jihad against infidels in general and against America in particular, and antisemitic writings explaining to young readers how the Jews murdered 25 prophets of Allah and that Jews habitually murder children. Other pages contain texts referring to Seville and Andalusia as part of the greater Muslim homeland, and discussing the long period of prosperity that these lands experienced under Muslim rule."
We keep a TM thread index in the headers of each of our threads.
Fyi.
The best burgers we ever tasted were also in New Mexico, town forgotten at this juncture in life. Ordered two jalapeno burgers and without doubt they were the most succulent, tasty burgers we ever were served anywhere before or after. We were traveling and didn't note the name of the restaurant or the town, sorrily, but it was a small hole in the wall place with a gas station next door. The second best traveling food memory was in Iowa with burgers slathered with sauteed onions. Yummmmmmm - they were awesome. Subsequent trips along that route and we were never able to find that restaurant again either.
Amen! Every time I hear the word "vigilante, I think "HERO!"
Snippets: "No license, no insurance, no registration," said Idaho State Police trooper Sean Prosser. And no English.
During the traffic stop, Prosser asked his dispatcher to contact immigration officials. None responded. While waiting for an interpreter, two of Juarez' co-workers walked up to the scene. One had the title of the Oregon-licensed car he was driving. "None are legal," Prosser said. After he was booked into jail, Juarez posted $141 and was released. Jail officials said there was no immigration hold placed on Juarez by federal authorities. The traffic stop shows the irony of the U.S. immigration debate raging nationally.
Over the past month, as U.S. lawmakers' debate changes to immigration policy, protest rallies have raged in major and even minor cities. However, unless it involves smuggling a large numbers of aliens, federal officials said detaining and deporting those here illegally is not a high priority. But as the national debate rages, Prosser's boss, ISP patrol Capt. Wayne Longo said his troopers are on the front lines.
Last week, Longo said one of his troopers stopped a carload of illegal aliens, this group from Romania who likely sneaked across the border in Washington He said after keeping the trooper occupied for two hours waiting for ICE, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, to respond, the trooper took down all of the group's identifying information and cut them loose. "They were heading toward Montana," Longo said.
Longo said during that two hours troopers talked to several different ICE officials, finally one saying he would go into his office and see what he could do. While the trooper was tied up on the stop, other duties went undone. During the lengthy stop, Longo said the trooper was running perilously close to violating the motorist rights and setting up an allegation of unlawful detention.
"I asked him if this were any other civilian stop, would there be anything else to hold them on," Longo said. The trooper said "absolutely not." With only a speeding ticket to support the stop, Longo ordered the trooper to let them go on their way.
Here's one of those "now I've read it all" comments. Is this country no longer able to close the borders for an emergency? Then, we're in worse shape than even TMers realize.

Homeland Security's Runge has a different concern: "One of the scariest thoughts is, if this country has successfully developed a vaccine within six months of an outbreak or our supply of antivirals is greater, there may be a rush into the United States for those things."

Experts Confirm Authenticity of Saddam's Signature

Saddam Hussein is refusing to confirm or deny the authenticity of a signature on documents.
Experts at the ex-Iraqi Presidents trial confirm the authenticity of Saddam's signature on documents connected to a crackdown on Shiites in the 1980s.
Handwriting experts say a signature on a document approving rewards for intelligence agents involved in the crackdown is Saddam's.
Some of his co-defendants had said their alleged signatures on other documents were forgeries.

Militants using explosive-filled cigarettes
outlookindia.com ^ | JAMMU, APR 17
Posted on 04/17/2006 2:44:30 PM PDT by Gengis Khan
Militants in Jammu and Kashmir have devised a novel way to carry out blasts.
An explosive-filled cigarette seized from a civilian last night indicated that the ultras are deviating from their usual techniques and working on different ways to target people in the state.
A civilian got injured when he ignited such a cigarette in the remote Mislai village in Thathri area of Doda district, Col D K Badola, heading the 16 Corp Media Centre, told PTI.
"Militants are now using explosive-filled cigarettes to carry out blasts in Jammu and Kashmir. One such cigarette has been recovered last night," Col Badola said.
"This was for the first time that a cigarette filled with explosive has been recovered from this area," he said.
"A civilian Hansraj Thakkar of Mislai found two Capstan cigarettes in the village and ignited one for smoking. However, it exploded causing injuries to his right hand," Col Badola said.
Army has begun an investigation into the incident, as the method can pose danger to the lives of people in the state, he said.
You are just so darned cute!
Is this a 'new' cold war?
Ah Sami, my very first real investigation/research...I will not miss him!
How is your brother doing?
Will be looking and thank you!
It is going to be a long process. He had a negative reaction to one of the medications they were using - made him hallucinate. He's off that, but is struggling with water retention and continued, significant drainage from the incision area. There are a multitude of minor issues that will have to be worked out eventually. However, they are hoping that he will be released from the hospital sometime this week. However, he will need a nurse to visit and administer medications for a while.
