Cited as Symbol of Abu Ghraib, Man Admits He Is Not in Photo (NYT caught red-handed in another lie!)

The TV Guide and National Enquirer probably have more integrity than the NY Slimes does.

Of course most of us can live out buying any of the three.

However, the checkout lady's comment was great: "At the supermarket checkout, in between TV Guide and National Enquirer. I asked the cashier, she started laughing "It's right where it belongs"!

"I know one thing," Mr. Qaissi said yesterday, breaking down in tears when reached by telephone. "I wore that blanket, I stood on that box, and I was wired up and electrocuted."

Damn soldiers! They should have sent an electrician in to do the job right. He wouldn't be causing this trouble now.

Sounds like a John Kerry war crimes story.

HAR--lemme guess--the memory of that incident in Abu Grahib was seared, SEARED!, into his brain... So as long as this clown doesn't sign the Iraqi equivalent of his SF-180, he might run for president of Iraq someday....

already been broadcast and printed by other outlets, including PBS and Vanity Fair,

One MSM outlet makes up a story. Others use the previous as sources. Uninformed Americans believe them. A poll is taken. Bush's ratings are down. The liars seem to win. Let's hope they don't in the only poll that really counts; the election.

The latest issue of Vanity Fair is three-fourths ads and one-fourth anti-Republican diatribes. I can only surmise that all those advertisers are anti-R.

I'd support your point of view if we weren't talking about an entity that is demonstrably in bed with our enemies during a time of war. First Amendment protections cannot be allowed to apply to parties that are so demonstrably working against the very existence of the state.

Considering the damage done by the NYT's revelations of NSA surveillance I'd very much like to see the Bush DOJ draw up a capital case against "Punch" and any other Timesman/woman involved in giving away this particular state secret. Moreover, the time has long since passed to impress upon the leftist journo pack that similar such transgressions will lead to a heavy and possibly terminal price.

That's how it USED to work. Before Algore invented this new-fangled Internet, the New York Times would get away with lies like this all the time. Now, anybody with a computer and a modem can get the real facts and expose their "errors".

I'm talking about the practice of being a crappy, biased, leftwing newspaper, not that of using your ability to gather information to materially undermine national security.

I know a parent who has a son in Iraq. She said this:

“If they release these photos it will put my son at greater risk. Damn Bush for doing this. We’re no better than the rest.”

She is actually a very hardworking citizen and selfless. It made no difference, liberalism infects all. You can expect the Obama administration to get away with absolutely everything. There is no hope.
