Let's see, we are rapidly turning into a surveillance society, we have a federal government that is spending more money than ever, we have a federal government that is trying to control more and more of the infrastructure that should be controlled at local levels (i.e. No Child Left Behind), we elect officials not because they are the absolute best candidate, but simply because we don't like the other candidate, we have a Supreme Court ruling that says private property is no long as sacred and absolute as it once was (if somebody else will pay higher taxes, they can have your land taken from you), and we have some powers that have been granted to the government (such as the PATRIOT Act) that will be abused to hell and back by liberals.

Are you sure that the America we once knew is not already dead or dying?

The America we once knew is gone already haven't you seen the socialists pigs out in the streets of our country waving mexican flags and pounding their fists at all of us and threatening our govt to not pass the bill Senate passed against illegals?

I fear that as well.. But not if we remain strong, vigilant and actively fight to prevent it. True Americans ARE amazingly resilient and fearsomely protective of what they cherish.. I know from reading many of your posts that you are one of them. Stay strong.
