This is as transparent as HarryReid's plan to post democrats in front of military hardware and flags to prove that they are patriots.

No one who knows anything is going to beleive either ploy, and those who don't know anything, aren't going to care.

But it DOES show that we are making a difference. They're trying to speak to us. So far though they haven't even learned the language, and they're still speaking with thick liberal accents.

Libs talk about how they'll demand Hillary stay true to their beliefs or else they won't vote for her. Their past actions regarding her husband makes me highly doubtful.

It's scary to think how close he came. I wonder if he still blames Bubba's fling with Monica from keeping him from obtaining his life long dream.

Republicans Can't Win Without Christian Conservatives

They (Republicans) had also better be careful with the immigration issue. People are getting REALLY impatient over the way things are shaping up on several fronts. When someone who claims to be a Christian (Bush) lies to a Christian (telling us that illegal immigration is a good thing), the dynamic of the whole relationship changes. Hillary can try all she wants, but the GOP, if they continue on their current trajectory, will do more to help her than she could ever do alone.

Don't forget how close Bush has come the past two elections to winning some of the bigger Midwestern states. Hillary can't afford to lose a Pennsylvania or Michigan.

His bibles tended to have a big cross on them as well. Just in case some folks thought he was reading "Moby Dick" at church.

"Hillary has repositioned herself within the political spectrum and will coyly speak the Christian conservative language to appeal to Christian values, but Christians know this radical pro-abort, pro-homo candidate has aligned herself with Christian haters in order to win elective office."

Let us not forget a world famous preacher anointed her as presidential material, for the whole world to see. There are plenty of people who will vote for her on that basis alone.

I have asked several fellow Catholics (democrats) how they reconcile their political affiliation with a party that is pro-abortion. I have never gotten an answer that wasn't a dodge.

My uncle-in-law (husband's father's brother) is a devout Irish Catholic and a staunch liberal Democrat. He attended the seminary in his youth and attends church on a daily basis, yet he is a Kennedy-lover and spouts all the liberal talking points. I've always wanted to ask him how he can reconcile the two points of view, but for the sake of family unity, I don't get into it.

Saw a bumper sticker lately that said, "Jesus was a Liberal." Incomprehensible.

I love these pols who claim to be devout followers of their faiths and yet see nothing wrong with voting against everything their religion stands for.

Agreed.  That, in itself is a lie.  The left will vote for Hillary over a Republican regardless once a candidate is named.  Still, it is illustrative and educational to see special interest groups dominate the discourse coming from Hillary and other Democrat candidates.  Their party is dominated by MoveOn and Soros, et al.

Agreed. The GOP can put the Dems on their heals if they can get on top of this issue.

Sounds like the elders in my family. As devout Catholics as you can imagine but they see the GOP as heretics.

COrrect. My parents were Dems. i grew up in Ky a dem state them. When abortion came out, people began to talk out ot both sides of thier mouths. I became a conservative at 12 and voter for Ford in 1976 and a Rep ever since.

"Catholic voters are becoming more pro-life" about time.

You have to wonder how anyone can justify positions on a pro-choice decision, and then receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist on Sunday?

Heard an attorney on Relevant Radio, (Catholic Radio) who works for the Vatican, on Morning Air a few weeks ago. They are starting to apply pressure on politicians like Kennedy, Kerry, Cuomo, Leahey, and other Catholic politicians. Suits that will be filed tell them that if they don't start changing their beliefs on pro-choice, and voting, then expulsion from the Catholic Church will be forthcoming.

It is about time!

Hillary's latest tack is typically Clintonian: She's accused "mean-spirited" Republicans of plotting to put Jesus behind bars.

I don't think even the leftist Reverends Jesse or Al would go that far...

Correct. I think one of the big shocks of 2004 for the Dems was that these groups worked overtime and yet it still wasn't enough to defeat Bush. It scared them that they weren't as strong as they believed they were.

Hope we can find some of the former WH staff who can testify first-hand how Hillsy used her scripture orientation in her treatment of them!..............

Possibly wishful thinking on my part, but I have a feeling that some of these chickens will be coming home to roost when the time comes.

Agreed, although Big Shock may not be strong enough. Here, the Democrats were in a meltdown of disbelief. They are still not over it and the conspiracy theories are cropping up, again.

For such a long time being a Catholic in this country meant you were also a Dem. It was simply part of your upbringing. I was brought up that way but there was this man in the White House named Reagan at the time. No matter how many bad things I heard about him on a daily basis I couldn't bring myself to hate him. When I said is was a Republican as a kid most members of my family thought I'd grow out of it. They just didn't understand.
