President Reagan was the amnesty president and as a result look at the mess after all these years of influx!! Tony is hardly a hack. He is pointing out what realistically will and will not work!
I tend to agree with him. Stop the influx and deal with those here now...no don't give them a free ride. But it is NOT amnesty.

Will everyone please help with this effort? We need to call and put pressure on employers. I am making calls and telling them that to remain a customer, they have to assure me that they do not hire illegal aliens. I ask them what they do to check out prospective employees and I give them the SS fraud line so they can verify an SS card.

1. Hello, my name is Doug (no, don't use Doug...use your own name) and I hope I am going to be able to remain a customer.
2. I have made a decision that I will not patronize a business that hires illegal aliens.
3. I hope you are going to be able to guarantee to me that you do not hire illegal aliens. How can you assure me? (they will give an answer)
4. Do you verify the Social Security number -- SS fraud line is 800.269.0271. What else do you do to make sure you are obeying the law?
5. If you discover you have hired an illegal alien, what will you do about it?

When you are done with a call, give us a report. I am working on the way to confront a business that I am absolutely sure is hiring illegals. I think I want to do something like give them a 30-day warning and then all hell is going to break loose on them.

Part of the problem (which you will never hear addressed, but i'm always up for a self-fatwa), is that over 45 million decided not to have children from 1973 (which btw, taxpayers pay millions for abortions through medicaid and insurance hikes)... those are your taxpayers (sure, some would be slackers or in prison... but it wouldn't be 40 percent); There's our social security for the boomers... gone. Those who have the kids, rule the world... Guess who's having the kids? There is a big lesson on the depopulation of Europe that we're not getting yet. When you see riots in France and Denmark or anywhere else... check the repopulation rate and immigration... very telling.

Americans waking up this morning are finding their flag poles with Mexican national flags replacing the stars and strips

The Stars and Stripes have been replaced by the Mexican flag at Chasewood North, and residents of the condominium community off Central Boulevard are puzzled as to who made the switch.

"I woke up Sunday morning and looked up from my patio and then realized that the American flag wasn't on the flagpole," said Sue Miller a Chasewood North board member. "What captured my attention were the colors — at first I thought it was an Italian flag, but one of our residents said it was the Mexican flag.

It may be several weeks before the Stars and Stripes once again fly over Chasewood North, according to Miller, who at one time was the resident manager of the complex. "We tried to get the flag down but couldn't, so we need to hire a company with a boom truck to get up there and replace the rope and put up the American flag," she said. "I would guesstimate that this would cost $500 or more to do."

BTW, on the unions point... you have hit on the division.
After this 'non-amnesty', what will be demanded next? Will employers then pay minimum wage and benefits?
I thought about this as well and wondered why the unions haven't seen the writing on the wall and countered.
The costs contractors keep as a result of low wage constrution through illegals, also kills union jobs. What are they going to do after when they demand to be in the unions? Who will the ACLU side with?
