And if we lose, we'll be called criminals and hung.

Not a problem. We begin by hanging the traitors in our own midst, as did the Finns during their own 5-month internal bloodletting in 1918.

The cost was the loss of about 1% of their national population. And as a result, Finland did not go Bolshevik as Soviet Russia did, with the resulting slaughter from that 70-plus year long experiment in Socialist rule. And now the flag of the Soviet Union is gone and replaced, and that of free Finland still proudly flies over their homeland.

Well, got bad news for all of you calling for civil war. You won't be doing it on FR. Travis is already gone and the rest of you will have to make a choice. If you want to advocate for civil war, you'll have to do it from some other web site.

Jim

I made that choice long ago, when I gave my word and swore my oath.

Army Officer Appointment Acceptance and Oath of Office

I (insert name), having been appointed a Major in the U.S. Army under the conditions indicated in this document, do accept such appointment and do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter, so help me God.

I remember the USN version of that. Then, as now, that "domestic" part is always the dirtiest.

"Our schools really do need to start teaching the true history of Communist revolutions and Che's story in particular."

Are you talking about the communism promoting government run indoctrination camps? Yah, thats a real good idea...

"president"

Swapping out a puppet doesnt really change the story it just annoys the puppet master. Years from now those looking back wont believe that the average man of today didnt see the real connections between aliens and extraconstitutional trade agreements.

An investigation would make people see what is happening with the rallies.

Bush hasn't got the spine to order an investigation, and neither do the rest of the RINO's that hold sway over the Republican Party.

Sometimes that kind of thing is just a bunch of big-talk testosterone going on.

How do you distinguish?

That pretty much sums it up -- the cop grabbing the beating victim while letting the assaulter go.

Go to www.fbi.gov and look though the wanted murderers there. Just doing the jobs that Americans won't do!

And the Republicans in the administration and congress can't see beyond their own personal greed.

It's just FReeper military veterans. Of course you can, if you have a subject of interest to FReeper vets of all services.

I didn't see anybody calling for a civil war. Can you point up the particular post that advocates that?

Thanks,

I thought Travis just wanted to kick the illegal aliens out of the country by legal means and forceful. Didn't think he meant a civil war.

I believe he meant he sees one coming, and that turncoats in our midst giving our enemies aid and comfort will add to those difficulties. I believe the constitution offers an appropriate remedy in such circumstances.

"We have Nicaragua, soon we will have El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Mexico. One day, tomorrow or five years or fifteen years from now, we're going to take 5 to 10 million Mexicans and they are going into Dallas, into El Paso, into Houston, into New Mexico, into San Diego, and each one will have embedded in his mind the idea of killing ten Americans."

--Thomas Borge, Nicaragua Interior Minister as quoted in the Washington Times, March 27, 1985

We don't have to round them up.
We just need to arrest and/or heavily fine employers and the jobs will dry up. The illegals will leave out of economic necessity.

We don't have an Immigration problem! We have a law enforcement problem that does little or nothing to curb CRIMINALS and INVADERS.

Amen Brother!

I took the enlisted oath of enlistment several times, and to the best of my knowledge I am still bound by it.
