I don't put much stock in polls but I put absolutely zero stock in anything CBS says or does.

This poll seems pretty valid:

1/3 of "voters" hate Bush and plan to take it out on Republicans this fall. We already knew that. These people are also called mainstream Democrats.

With the total chaos they have as a legacy as well as the utter lack of any shred of a national agenda, the Demoscats have nothing left but hatred of our Commander-In -Chief as he guides our country in a time of war.

This disgraceful disrespect can have only one true outcome. It will be deserved. The American heartland is not fooled by this mean-minded rhetoric.

Control of the house boils down to about 20 races, and RATS would need to win 15 to gain majority. For the Senate, it is highly unlikely RATS will overcome a 10 seat majority.

It is too early for this current bash best. The Dems have blown it, even though they are rejoicing, thinking they have got many conservatives on their side against Bush.

This will easily die out before Nov. and Republicans are going to gain seats.

The rats and liberal MSM win in their biased polls, and we win elections.

Even more so if the Dems on Connecticut force Lieberman to switch to an independant.

Even if people think the President dropped the ball on immigration, I doubt that will make them vote for Democrats. The GOP at least has the philosophical capacity to reject benefits for illegal aliens while the Democrats simply have to throw open the doors and hand them money.

"Mr. Bush's ratings on handling the war in Iraq, the campaign against terrorism and the economy are also up very slightly" It must have irked them to admit this. HA! Is cbs a credible news source? I rather doubt it.

Really?

It's been 2 years since 2004. In that time, approximately 3 million more illegal aliens have entered America.

As we see from the protests, they are not organized, and they are being registered to vote using various motor-voter tactics and laws put into place by the Democrats.

Senate elections are statewide, meaning that one corrupt urban district churning out votes from illegals can nullify whole counties of registered rural voters.

The Democrats have a very good chance of organizing the 20 million illegal aliens in America to vote as never before, because now immigration is on the line. That's what all these marches and organization is about right now: it's the Illegal Alien Voter Registration Drive of the Democratic Party for the 2006 elections.

The Democrats have a reasonably good shot at taking both houses of Congress if they can get a mere 5% of illegals to vote this time. 1 million votes in an off-year election will hand them power.

Give it two more years, and 3 million more illegals in the US, and Hillary will take Florida and Ohio and be the next President.

Illegal aliens vote.
And they are being organized in unprecedented numbers to vote for the Democrats, who will give them amnesty and benefits and make them legal and keep the borders open.

The Dems understand, well, that this is the key to their return to power.

The Republican Party loves the cheap labor and won't stop it.

We can see in the organized demonstrations the voter pool that will return Congress to the Democrats this Fall, and put Hillary there in 2008.

Bush isn't running for anything?

He has to get a Republican majority through this year's mid-term elections.

There is no telling what the Dems will do if they gain control of one or both houses of congress.

Actually, its GOP congress that is in danger. It would be a pity if Pres. Bush handed over Congress to the Demonrats in 2006 and the presidency to Hillary! in 2008.

There is no telling what the Dems will do if they gain control of one or both houses of congress.

Well, for starters, pull the troops out of Iraq and hand it over to the islamists, repeal the tax cuts, block any border fence, pass an amnesty program, block any pro-life SCOTUS nominee - Roe v. Wade stays on the books, and impeach President Bush. And it will be a very long time before we ever again see a Republican majority.

I hope all the "conservatives" on FR gleefully announcing they will stay home in November understand exactly what they are voting for.

Bush is damaging his support with his conservaitve base over his failure to DO SOMETHING to stop these illegal invaders.

I doubt if conservatives will vote for Dems. But all they have to do is stay home in appreciable numbers or vote third party and the Repubs are finished, the Dems are in, and America is gone.

I blame Bush and the RINOs for their failure to deliver what their constituents want and expect on this illegal invader issue.

Zogup Poll: Bush has first negative approval rating in history.

"In a startling report, Zogup, the respected Madison Wisconsin polling firm, has announced that its latest survey puts President George Bush's approval number at negative 6 points.

Zogup Vice President in charge of national polling, Clinton Demokratsky shook his head apparently still amazed by the results of his own poll as he addressed a gaggle of giddy reporters. "Yes it is true, Mr Bush's approval numbers have fallen to an unprecedented minus six percent." Demokratsky said.

He went on to explain that while it was no surprise that one hundred percent of those responding to his poll ( 134 adults living in various institutions across the nation, with a 3% +/- ) even he was surprised that 8 people who were not even called, used a friend's caller ID to get his home phone number to participate in the historic survey. Demokratsky added " When word of these calls reached the office, a young staffer, one of the new guys asked if it was ethical to include them in the final numbers. When we stopped laughing we sent him out to get the Cuban cigars Howie sent us and we all smoked whatever we had."

The spokesman continued " If there is that much real hatred for this guy out there, who are we to cover it up? The only thing we could do is announce it as it happened. It is true, Mr. Bush has a negative 6% approval rating, and it would take 9 people changing their minds to get Bush to a 1% approval rating."

In spite of them being major whimps and weaklings, the Pubbies will gain both senate and house seats this November. End of story!!! IMHO, the entire Democrat party should be dispatched to the hereafter, and all the military and innocents they have helped slaughter should be returned to their families and loved ones including the injured and wounded. I can't help it, watching the "History" channel makes me hate anyone that calls themselves Democrat!!! And...the heartbreaking testimony from 911 families makes me dislike Bill and Hillary Clinton more with each day the passes by. They failed to protect us and destroyed what little effective intelligence the USA. Anyone that votes Democrat is nuts!!!
